Great value and nice location

Super easy registration, check in. Great WiFi and nice amenities. We had a huge end spot with great access to everything. On our path to the coast and I’d definitely stop here again.

Oasis on TX Route 287

It was 105 degrees F and this campground was an oasis in the west Texas desert. A little green grass in the campground and some shade trees too, along with a pool.

I arrived after closing. Check in was easy. Just picked up a packet outside the office and chose an empty spot. Nice and level and had a shade tree too. Full hook-ups and a quiet night's sleep. I didn't hear the train over my AC. Very pleasant. Great management. Clean facilities. I'd definitely stay here again when I pass through this way next time.

Simple, but very convenient

This is a simple campground. Easy to access and easy in and out. We liked it here - friendly, easy to work with staff. They've been very accommodative. We'll gladly stay here again.

Best TX Park By Far

This park and it’s owners are amazing! Lush, open and inviting. Large spots with picnic tables for big rigs. Laundry and bathrooms near a small swimming pool. Wait until you see inside the old Cotton gin. You’ll feel like you’ve stepped back in time. Small store with cats, dogs and great conversation. Worth staying as many nights as you can! The train goes by and whistles several times during the night, like a country lullaby.

Very quiet, very clean with a grand view of the stars.

Stopped in just for night. We arrived after dark and everyone was respecting the quiet hours. Our site was mostly level after a little adjusting. The bath house was very clean, wifi was strong and all the hookups worked great! Unfortunately their office was unexpectedly closed with no notice or sign on the door. After talking with the maintenance guy I learned that the owners were gone for the week for Christmas. While it was a minor inconvenience for me, I'm glad that the owners were able to be with their loved ones during this holiday season and still run a great RV park. Will definitely stay again if we're in the area, and hopefully be able to check out their shop next time!

Quick Stop

We only stopped here for a quick stay so I can’t give a complete review of the facilities but they had pull through sites that were level and clean. The train is close so you will hear it at night but it didn’t bother us. The customer service was great! Great quick stop on our way back to N.M.

Good 1-night Stop Off

A nice place for a one night stop off. Nothing fancy. Owners are super nice. They offer military discount. They have a chicken coop and sell fresh eggs for $3/dozen. They have a small swimming pool. The old cotton gin on site is a cool feature. It was full of dusty furnishings. Looks like they used it as a venue in the past. The back row of the park appears to be full timers. Be prepared to hear trains blasting their horns all night long.
