Oasis RV Park & Apartments

Accessible directly from Interstate 10, Oasis RV Park & Apartments operates year-round as a straightforward overnight stop in Van Horn. The park features pull-through sites on gravel surfaces with full hookups accommodating RVs up to 50 feet. All sites include electric, water, and sewer connections along with access to WiFi, though connectivity can drop out in the evenings.

The campground provides basic amenities including restrooms with showers and laundry facilities. A dog walking area and separate off-leash dog park serve pet owners, while an adult spa and gym offer additional amenities when operational. Pool facilities remain closed following COVID restrictions. Martha H. notes it's "not a resort, but it was fine for us" with everything in working order.

Sites sit on level concrete pads with picnic tables, though shade remains limited throughout the day. Traffic noise from the nearby interstate and light pollution affect nighttime conditions. The property shows signs of age with some maintenance needs, and goat head stickers present a concern for pets and campers walking around the grounds.

For those seeking a more secluded experience, Hotel El Capitan offers a different atmosphere less than a mile east of the park.

A transit-friendly RV park with mixed conditions - some areas feature concrete pads and nice facilities while others show signs of decline. Many visitors appreciated the quiet atmosphere, pet amenities, and helpful owners for overnight stops.

A Simple and Convenient Stop for Travelers

My stay at Oasis RV Park& Apartments was overall a decent experience, especially for a short stop during a long trip. The park is easy to access and offers all the basic amenities like water,الكهرباء hookups, showers, and laundry, which made the stay convenient. The area was quiet and felt safe, perfect for resting after a day on the road. However, the facilities are quite simple and a bit dated, and there isn’t much shade, so it can get pretty hot during the day roller baller. While it may not be the best choice for a long vacation, it’s a practical and comfortable option for travelers passing through.

Everything you need

This is not a resort, but it was fine for us. A small gravel campground with power, water, and sewer. There is a bathroom with a shower. Again, it's not fancy, but everything is in working order. Would definitely stay again. The owners are very nice.

Run down

This campground might have been nice at one time. The property is for sale and needs a lot of attention. There were no concrete pads, the spaces are small, and the laundry looked unusable. Goat head stickers are everywhere. There is an indoor swimming pool that looks like it has not been used for several years. They do accept Passport America, so the $20 was doable for an overnight stop.

Love!

Spaces are huge and level. Concrete with beautiful picnic table. Beautiful laundry and bathroom/showers. easy access from route 40 without road noise. Only disadvantage is there’s no shade. I would stay here again! Shopping very nearby.

Sometimes there aren't word to describe

Used our discount program for her. Do not think I would of paid full price for the parking area that appeared to look more like a run down abandoned rv trailers. When we pulled in we were unsure where to go. Area felt safe, it's a ghost town, safe - police station across the street, however based on the pics it was deceiving. Would only stay one night. And definitely choose another location if available if we were passing through again. But if our only option we would stay at this rate. The pic shows a few campers out our window of other campers and not a joke about Jesus, because, a I love Jesus. This is to only show you the park. Just needs some sprucing up and the disabled campers removed.

Nice amenities for camping

Neat collection of cars and carts out front. Offers showers, laundry, wifi, and apparently they also offer church services. Traffic sounds and light pollution at night.

Great stop when you want amenities

We stopped here on way back to Austin. We prefer remote camping but this place was great for hot showers and all the amenities offered. Everyone in the park keeps to themselves.

All RV spots are pull-through.

There’s a dog leash walking area and an off leash dog park.

Family pool area and hot tub closed for covid. But we saw a cute bunny hopping around when we walked over to check it out.

Adult spa was open, hot, and beautiful but we were focused on showering and eating so we didn’t get in.

Also a great looking gym setup.

Internet went out before 9 but is included in the price so that was a bummer but not a big issue.

Great spot to plug-in, shower, and do tend to yourself after being on the road.
