The Brazos River Authority manages this drive-in campground with sites accessible by boat and on foot within D&D North. Campers find covered picnic tables, grills, fire pits, and restrooms with showers distributed throughout the area. The facility accommodates tents, vans, truck campers, and small trailers on sites positioned both directly on the water and elevated in surrounding hills.
A massive trail system extends throughout the protected area, while a small dock provides lake access for boating and fishing. Cell service supports remote work, and deer roam freely through the campground. For additional options, campers can explore campgrounds just outside D&D North or check nearby Bug Beach BRA #5 just over a mile southwest.
