Nice experience

Camped in the non electric section, sites well spaced out, covered table, shower and flushed toilet. Good walking trails. $16 for 2 which included admission. Very few campers

Overpriced

Overpriced for what they offer. Small concrete pad that's not even aligned with the RV door. The hook ups are on the right side when the electric cable and tanks' valve is on the left so the sewer hose ended up underneath the RV. $40/night… Stayed 3 nights… waste if money.

Best RV Park in the RGV

Bentsen Palm Village RV Resort’s unique hub-and-spoke circle design allows ample space to maneuver even the biggest RVs.Full hookups 50amp, clubhouse, pool, pontoon boat, bicycles, kayaks. World birding center @ Bentsen State Park. National Butterly Center. Wood Shop. $49 - 69/night.

Hot & Sandy

Most of the pull thru sites are not level, we have auto level on our 5th wheel and the driver side tires were 3” off the ground. During COVID they are only booking every other site which helped with us fitting into our site. They do have a covered picnic tank engine at each site. Handy park if you’re there to fish. Would try somewhere else in the future.

Great park

Friendly with a cozy atmosphere. Everyone very helpful…neighbors and staff. Limited activity while there due to caution of COVID, but that was appreciated.

Would stay again

We spent a week at Chimney Rock in life January. As expected the weather was great. Played golf at nearby courses. Most of the people there are Winter Texans are 55+. Very friendly. Lots of fun activities. Border patrol post on the property. Very safe. No cable and cell service spotty.

New management - good job - nice amenities

Love the two air conditioned club houses and the separate lounging library. Love the dog wash with fresh towels-all you need is your doggie’s favorite shampoo.Lots to do. Some sites are a little tight but mgr tries to get you in best spot for your needs. Very impressive. All employees and workampers are great and helpful! So great we are staying til April 1st.

great place

Nice friendly medium priced RV Resort popular with 55+ Winter Texans.

Well maintained, reasonable prices, gated, small dog park, laundry rooms on site, two recreation halls, indoor heated pool, billiard hall, quiet area, level sites. Friendly residents and staff
