Very Surprised

Although this was a one night stop-N-go, we will be back. Super nice and well maintained. Staff very knowledgeable.

Greatest Place to Stay

I absolutely love going here to camp! There's like never anyone, there, so it's always quiet and we don't have to worry about people starting crap for no reason

Google Maps needs Help

Caution- Google Maps has no idea where the entrance to this campground is. Entry was very easy and the Ranger on duty was extremely helpful. There is lot's of space in Section 1 but through out the campground there are not very many full hookup sites.

Pros: Nice patio pads at most sites,…

Looks like fun in the summer

We arrived late  December and it was chilly. Sites with full hook up are limited, but even with annuals are still possible. One thing though, we found a great site (124 ) very close to the water which is a plus for us as my wife is disabled and needs a walker so if the water is too far it becomes…

Lovely Park!

We were here for 5 nights in August 2020. We were in back-in site 20, which was level, shaded and plenty wide and long enough for our 35’ MH and tow car. The pads are gravel with a paved pad for picnic table. There are a lot of pull through sites that are plenty long for big rigs and not tight…

Amazing

I love love love this place. Everyone is like family and yeah it’s not perfect but it’s perfect to me. We spend a lot of time there and we haven’t been in a year and I miss it so much. Couldn’t ask for a better park manger than “ SHORTY” Lynn. She makes it great for everyone. If you have a problem…

Good place for a one night stop

Park was clean and nice. Has some shade in most sites, some more than others. Restrooms were closed due to Covid but it looks like the pool is open. Spots are gravel with cement pads and picnic tables. Table we had was rough around the edges but manageable. Some road noise.

Decent Park

As far as Thousand Trails this is an average park. There are some full hook up sites but many are partial hookups. You pick your own site which is nice but most of the full hook up sites are occupied by long term residents or annual site holders. The view of the lake is beautiful and the park is…

Sunday-Wed stay

Full hook ups. Friendly staff. Roads were paved it a little run down. Crushed stone pads were flat and easy to stabilize. Also good for keeping the dirt out. Cement area with picnic table was at every site. Several long time guests on East edge the rest of the park was wide open. …

Rundown and Rude Staff

They tell you to go pick out a spot and then call it in to them. Most of the sites had no number and I told the office this. Rather than help, she argued with me and was very nasty. When I said I wanted a refund, they could not provide it. A guy finally helped me but I will never stay at this place…

Great location

First time camping in this area of Texas! The rolling hills are beautiful! This campground is very dark at night, so if you are arriving later in the evening beware! The RV sites are not marked very well! They are level and they do have some near the water! They have a nice pool and club house! The…

Nice RV Park

Quiet and peaceful RV Park. The ladies at the office were very helpful and friendly. They are pet friendly with a nice dog walk area. The restrooms are spacious, clean, and have large residential style showers. We couldn’t have asked for more for our weekend visit during my daughter’s softball…

Nice wide open campground and great lake

Easy to access, even for larger rigs. We stayed in 39 foot 5th wheel. Plenty of pull thru spots, full hookups, regularly spaced bathroom/showers. Nice store for basic needs, nice laundry room.
