Nice lake park

We stayed just one night but it was a nice park with a lot of areas around the lake for the kids to play.

Cheap and quiet

At the time I stayed full hook ups where $15. Easy check in, just write your info down and out 15 dollars in an envelope. Very quiet and clean park. Great stop for a overnight stay.

Immaculate Experience!!

I can’t say enough good things about this place. The employees are so incredibly kind, you can tell they love what they do. The breakfast from the cafe was great! The general store had everything you can think of and toys for the kids with affordable prices! From animals to a water course on the…

Large, Private Sites

The campground has 66 sites but is laid out in such a way that you have a lot of privacy. The sites near the water are electric only, and the inland sites are water electric. No sewer sites. Most of the sites are in smaller sections of 6 sites, in a circle with nice grass and a lot of foliage in…

This is a very nice campground. Sites are large and even. Each site has a concrete pad and picnic table. Staff was very friendly. There is a large pond and pool. The campground is decorated with plants and vintage memorabilia. We would love to come back another time!

Great family fun!

Can’t say enough about this place. Staff were super accommodating and friendly. So many day activities and my kids were never bored with 3 pools and a splash pad. They even finish off every night with a marshmallow roast! My only complaint is that we didn’t have enough time to do everything that…

Unexpected oasis

We happened upon this lovely, and convenient park during an emergency situation with our vehicle. This park is so nice, yes, it is near a freeway but step out your door and over to the park - WOW, who knew Wichita Falls was so pretty? We didn’t. We were stranded for two days (weekend) but this park…

nice overnight spot

overall, this campground was a nice overnight spot on our route to Dallas. There were nice paved pull through sites and a good gravel pad surrounded by grass.  There were large trees, which seem rare in this part of Texas, but they were mainly on the perimeter back in sites.   The restrooms looked…

Greatest Place to Stay

I absolutely love going here to camp! There's like never anyone, there, so it's always quiet and we don't have to worry about people starting crap for no reason

No towels in the restrooms, flies were everywhere.

We read that there were big trees for shade, and the pool was open 24 hours/day. It sounded lovely. When we arrived we were given a site where you could see the trees, but none nearby for shade. The neighbors had "acquired" the picnic table for our site. They had a tire and other junk stacked…

Hidden gem

Stopped here for one night. Kids immediately fell in love with the small pool and playground. Friendly staff, escorted us to our site and made sure to answer all our questions. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area. Big rig friendly, we have a 39ft 5th wheel and 2 vehicles. Sites fit us…
