Excellent Resort

Plan to stay here as long as you can. We made this an overnight stop. Big mistake. One cannot even explore this park in a day, let alone see San Antonio. Amenities, to list a few are: pool, mini golf, pickle ball, rec hall, community fire pit and more. Visit the River Walk and Alamo! You need at…

Very nice spot

When you first roll up I felt a bit skeptical. Surrounding area appeared to be rough bars on windows Homeless foot traffic seemed high. Once you get inside the park it changed. Very well kept up park no trash anywhere and friendly people. Our spot fit my 33 ft bumper pull and mega cab just right.…

Serene, surburban feel

We stayed here a few days and enjoyed the cleanliness, gentle vibe the place offered.

There are great perks to staying here if just wanting to chill in the RV. But, it’s also close to the nearby attractions such as, the Alamo, The Mission state park and the River Walk. We enjoyed the amenities…

Simple Campground

The FamCamp is small and simple but affordable place to stay while you’re in town. Although the sites are paved, there is mud everywhere during rainfall. Only one side has shade.

Nice quiet park not far from San Antonio

We were in site 38(open side of campground) for 8 days. Our site was deceptively unlevel, where our front wheels ended up an inch or so off of the ground. We saw a few others that way too. The sites in treed part are rather close together and irregular in length, some very short, but the current…

Nice well maintained campground

This is a full service campground. Pool, TV room, breakfast bar, laundry ... etc. Bike trail runs right by campground. Very well maintained and close to downtown. A little pricey for tent camping but worth it.

Bicyclist’s Beware

We stayed here at the camp ground for a week. It’s a decent campground with a pool, hot tub, dog walk, minigolf and a playground for kids. Facilities are clean and grounds are well kept. Very close to the riverwalk and downtown. There’s even a bike trail into downtown. But this park is in a bad…

Very nice and close to the Alamo/river walk

We called an audible on our trip and spent a couple nights here that we weren’t originally planning on. We were able to get reservations on a day notice, and got a great spot across from the playground (our kids loved) with full hookups. They’ve got a nice little pool, pretty big playground and a…

Amazing little area

Awesome place to camp if you live in Ausitn or San Antonio. We camped at site 14 and it’s nice and shady and away from others. Alcohol is not allowed but no one checks your camp so don’t be rude and you can drink.

Lots of great hikes. The Dino tracks are cool. There is a fire pit and a grate to…
