Great spot close to Austin and Lockhart

This was our very 1st RV park. It set the tone for all our spots moving forward. Clean bathrooms, clean pool/hot tub, clean laundry, well stocked store, gated community, great walking trail around a big lake and near big long horn cows. Met some big white neighbor dogs on the trail, but they kept their distance. Seems like the middle of nowhere, but it's really close to Austin, lockhart, Circuit of the America's. We stayed a week. Will stay again.

Perfect Campground!

We stayed here since it’s 20 minutes from McKinney State Park. This was the last place around with availability this weekend, and we really didn’t read too much about it in advance, and we were so pleasantly surprised at everything it had to offer! Amazing sites with concrete, a picnic table, and a fire pit. Our spot, #97, was right on the water and it was an amazing spot to watch the sunset! The pool was perfect and the bathrooms were amazing. Super clean and spacious shower areas. Awesome recreation area, laundry, gym, and gift shop that has a small pizza place there so you can order food on site. Seriously blown away at how awesome this place was, and how nice the staff was at the gift shop. It made our weekend! Highly recommended!

Good rates

Stayed here for the good price on a weekly rate. Nice set up for the kids.

No shade anywhere. Pool was supposed to be heated but was not working.

Nice place, but a bit pricey

Overall I like this park. It's away from the interstates and expressway, but close enough to run and get supplies whenever you need. It is a bit noisy, but nothing too bad. My only real gripe is that the septic connection at my spot is at the same height as my RV connection - no matter what I do, I can't get it to have a slope. Most sites are better, but the connection at all of them is raised up about 6". The other thing I'm not happy about is the price ($250 a week). It's a bit steep, but it is a gated area (resort is a bit of stretch). There are a lot of long-term/permanent guests here, and they do make the place look unkempt. I still give it 4 stars, but they need to clean it up a bit. I've stayed in real RV resorts, and for the same money, I've seen better.

Very Nice

Only stayed one night but a very nice park. Level concrete pads with asphalt roads. Pool and spa. Playground for the kids. Huge dog run. Trash pickup. Would stay again.
