Description
Tucked inside Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area on the Tennessee–Kentucky border, this primitive beach camp sits steps from the water's edge on Forest Service Road 403 — close enough that the lake is visible from a tent at sunrise and sunset. The access track is rough and deeply potholed in places, and conditions worsen after rain; high-clearance four-wheel drive is strongly advisable. A fire pit is on-site, and the spot offers good fishing and swimming directly off the rocky shoreline.
