Hobbs Cabin is a primitive shelter within Savage Gulf State Park, reachable only by foot via the North Rim Trail or the North Plateau Trail, which can be combined as a loop. The cabin sleeps six on wood bunks and has a wood fireplace and an outdoor fire ring. A spring sits roughly 50 yards south, though water may not be available during dry conditions. The site sees lighter traffic than some campgrounds around Savage Gulf State Park. Campers wanting a site with different exposure can look at Stone Door Campground — Savage Gulf State Park, located 0.1 miles north.
