Welcome to Goat Crossing, a peaceful, primitive camping spot nestled on our family homestead just outside Fort Pierre, South Dakota. Now offering one FULL hookup tv spot. Camp among the critters — friendly goats, chickens, and even the occasional horse — while enjoying wide open skies, fresh air, and laid-back country vibes.
We offer flat grassy areas and a gravel pad for tent camping or vehicle camping (vans, rooftop tents, truck beds, etc.). You’ll have access to:
- A 120V outlet for light power needs
- A water hydrants in main camp area.
- A shared fire pit for s’mores and stargazing
- A front-row seat to goat shenanigans 🐐
Guests are welcome to walk the land, say hi to the animals, and even bring their own horse — we have a pasture and round corral available by request.
There are no restrooms or showers, so this is best for self-contained setups or campers who love the rustic, unplugged experience.
