Nice place to stay for one night

Nice place close to the interstate, but quiet. Very clean and neat. The owners were waiting for us after hours and escorted us to the site.

Overall, it was exactly what we needed: a nice place to stop on the long way. I would definitely stay there again.

Foul Mouth Owner

On 06282023, at about 1830 hours, my family and I stayed at the Midland SD KOA campground. Our grill, that we brought with us, was not working so we lit the grill at a nearby empty patio site. A lady employee informed us that the grill was not for us to use and we apologized but she gave us permission to use the grill. A male employee came over to use and acussed us of stealing and cussed, he actually used cuss words, us out. Maybe we should have known better than to have attempted to use the grill but to have family cussed at is unprofessional and wrong.

Great people

We stayed here for a week while exploring Badlands and Mt Rushmore. It was a bit of a drive, but a quiet place with great customer service. They have a cafe and deliver right to your door! The only minus was no pool and 96+ degree temps. It seems the pool repairs were too much. The campstore is well stocked and even has beer and wine.

Best one yet

This campground just seems like home. We arrived and followed a worker down into our lot. They are nice pull through lots with more than enough space between each lot. Shower are well kept. We were put next to the playground which was busy with kids until 8 then it got quiet. Dog park was a great addition!

Nice campground, really good owners

They has some fancies when I was in a pinch to get a site for the next few nights. They were able to accommodate my needs. They have continued to be friendly & helpful throughout my stay.

There are very few trees or shady areas. The tent sites seem to be shadier than the RV sites, who often have air conditioning. The tent sites are also closer to the bathrooms.

There is a pool & other family activities.

This KOA is out among some very small towns. There are few amenities outside of the campground. But I enjoyed a day trip through the Badlands.

Robert and Lisa are great! They have a good pizza and baked spaghetti. And fresh made smoothies! Plus they deliver to your site.

Belvidere East KOA Journey

September 8-9, 2019 We liked this park a LOT. Most important was the GREAT customer service. They were remodeling their restrooms while we were there. The restrooms were dated but clean. Very good wifi, Verizon 4G 5 bars. Site 33 had electric, water, and sewer. Park had washers, dryers, and propane. Rate $40.99 with KOA membership. Owners Robert & Lisa Wice are VERY customer service type managers. They have a nice store and serve food. They even deliver food to your site. We enjoyed their pizza. Last food order taken at 5:30 p.m.

Godod place to stop over on our way to the Badlands!

Nice campground for a one night stop-over! Kids liked the pool (thought it was a bit cold). Playground was right near our campsite. Shower facilities were clean. Staff were very friendly. Pizza delivered right to our campsite.
