Kadoka Lake

This is a great spot for when needing a spot to sleep overnight. You can definitely see where people got stuck in the mud but if it’s dry it’s no problem to get around though I still wouldn’t recommend taking any kind of rig out here. Not really sure how this spot got signed up as a dispersed spot as there’s a large house 500 yards or so away, but it’s a nice open area with a great sunset. We didn’t have any issues. There are a lot of flies and cow manure as a heads up. We did see cows on the other side of the fence.

The road is literally called 4WD and not for no reason. We tried taking our class C out by the lake but there was a sudden+steep hole in the path. We knew we couldn’t make it so we tried turning around and got stuck in mud. We paid one of the locals we had talked to earlier to come pull us out. Do not risk this location if you have a big rig especially if rain has been in the forecast. Also the lake is dried up, saw some local cows here tho. That was nice I suppose

I was actually very fond of this spot. Pulled in late at night on my drive from Salt Lake to Wisconsin (great halfway spot) and had the whole road to myself. Felt super safe and slept great!

Stayed the night Quiet right off the road. The lake was dried up but nice views.
