Perfect primitive camping spots. There are streams near bottom of the mountain and the road does loop all the way around. The second entrance is about 9 miles from the first on the main road (276) which is right before cradle of forestry. We decided to go to the top. Water does run off from the top…

Nice sites but small. Clean campground. Bathrooms are clean. Have a pool, cabins, and store
The campground is beautiful. Spacious sites. Two fishing ponds where we caught lots of bass. Our site was right on the creek and the sounds were soothing at night as we fell asleep. We loved Camping at Timberlake and we plan to return.
We don’t like driving from this park, and it’s always such a good place to escape when we want a short getaway! The lake is always a good time and the campground is large! You can’t go wrong with this park!
Awesome place up in the mountains
Beautifully laid out into separate areas for RV, small pull-behind campers and tents. Must take the hike to top of Standing Indian Mountain to appreciate the legend behind the campground name. There's a small, convenient "store" for forgotten essentials. Really striking creek separating the first…
Great spot. Clean bathrooms and fire pits. Very friendly camp host that has/had firewood available to guests. With a recommended donation box. Would def come back here again
Came here after escaping Van Hook Glade in Highlands. Most of the sites are occupied by permanent seasonal residents. They are all very nice people. We had a mishap arriving which caused damage to our trailer. 3 people including the owner rushed to help us. Quiet. Riverside spots. Would not have…
We stayed at three different campsites throughout our trip (went backpacking 4 days, 3 nights - could have just set up camp and day hiked, buttttt didn't necessarily think that through).
The first campsite we stayed at was on the Green Valley Trail, the second one was on the Panthertown…

This is a beautiful campground with awesome trails right from the campground. Lots of stairs to the bottom of the gorge but so worth it. Beautiful views from all trails and a very cool suspension bridge.
We camped lakefront on hartwell. Had a very large point all to ourselves. The site was super clean, had a fire pit, grill, full service hook-up. Plenty of parking, and the site was situated in a dead end cul-de-sac. Restrooms and showers were nearby, and kept very clean. The campground has a beach,…

The creekside sites were absolutely we're absolutely fantastic.. The kids enjoyed playing in the rapids and catching frogs.
The bathhouse was very primitive.
It was great being close to some beautiful waterfalls!
We spent 5 nights here in early June 2021. The campground is pretty well maintained, and quiet. Nice showers and bathrooms on the higher numbered loop of the campground. Right on a well stocked river. Most sites will be able to handle a small trailer (we have a 17') or a tent. Class B's are fine.…
We stayed here for three nights and loved it! Beautiful location in the Appalachians with trails and streams all around. Lots of fine back country drives too; up to the Albert Mtn lookout on the AT and lovely waterfalls. Nice quiet campsites, we got lucky with site #78 and hope to return.
