Great Place

We very much enjoyed our stay here. Kids enjoyed the park, they offer a small paddle boat to take any time you want on their little lake on site, the area is beautiful, coworkers are friendly. Happy we came!

Gorgeous Views

I really enjoyed this campsite. There’s not much around here to do, but for us we enjoyed the calmness. The playground is perfect for kids, the creek is right behind you which gave us beautiful views right outside our RV window(s). The owner of this campground came to our RV to fill up our propane as much as he could so we didn’t have to tear down everything to drive to fill up after setting up camp (rookie mistake).
If you want to take a day trip to Maine you’re a two hour drive away. Boston is an hour, Salem is also an hour. Many options around you if you feel like taking day trips. I originally had my review to 5 stars, but after staying for a week and needing to do laundry I was very disappointed in the laundry room. Very run down and needs a good cleaning. Other than the laundry this place is great!

Worth The Time

When we came it had little to no amenities, but I really enjoyed the area and the RV park. This was my first park that had free laundry which was an absolute bonus. Hearing that bonus in the reviews made me a little apprehensive about how busy it would be, but I did laundry 3 times out of the week we stayed and I always had room to do my family’s laundry. Bathroom, showers, laundry was very clean. Internet was flawless coming from a family who works and does school full time online. No buffering at all. Only flaw was the train is extremely close and can be noisy, but after two nights almost didn’t notice it.

A great spot!

Such a great spot! You almost feel like you’re in your own little town. It has so much to offer you almost don’t need to leave for anything. There’s a cute restaurant that over looks the lake on the site. Friday night they had mellow live music. It also has a cute little store. The Rec center was utilized almost every day with my two younger children. Everyone there seems to be long term/permanent guests and all is very friendly and welcoming. My kids and I took many walks to find so many beautiful views and wildlife. The dock is gorgeous, endless views. Not a lot of younger folks which made me worry my kids would feel out of place, but as stated everyone is very friendly. Only downside is the ants. So many ants! Not sure if it was just our site, but they got so bad they started invading our RV.

Very Noisy

I’m not sure if it’s just our location in the campsite, but we are located where the freeway is unfortunately very close which makes it hard to sleep with the amount of traffic all through the night. The designated spots are very small. Barely enough room for our 30 foot RV and small car. The price seems a little high for a fairly dated park, but it is close to all the attractions, so that is a consideration for the cost here. I wish I could say better things about the place, because the manager here is extremely friendly and makes you feel at home.
