Laurel Highlands Campland

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Fishing ponds, swimming pools, and access to the Youghiogheny River give campers at Laurel Highlands Campland a range of water-based activity close to the sites. The campground sits just off the Pennsylvania Turnpike and Route 31 in Donegal, and while the highway is audible, Fred R. notes you "can barely hear the traffic" once you're settled in. The surrounding area gives campers easy reach of Seven Springs, Hidden Valley, and Fallingwater, making this a workable base for day trips throughout the Laurel Highlands region.

Full hookups are available, with electric, water, and sewer connections at RV sites, though power is limited to 30 amps. WiFi is on-site, along with showers, a dump station, and both indoor and outdoor pools. The outdoor pool is large, and the indoor option covers rainy-day swimming. Reviewers note the playground equipment is worn and due for an upgrade. Organized activities run regularly, including bingo, DJ nights, and food events, though weekend programming can run late and has drawn noise complaints from families with young children.

Nearby alternatives worth comparing include Laurel Highlands Camplands Inc and Donegal Campground, both within a short distance. Reservations are available and pets are allowed. This campground tends to work best for RV campers who want full hookups, structured activities, and proximity to regional attractions rather than a quieter, more remote setup.

No sleep.

Pool was very nice. Playground area extremely sketchy and needs an upgrade. “Dj night” turned into an “all nighter” and my three children were woken repeatedly.

Turn Pike camp

Nice pools with playground, fishing pond and tons of open space. They have 30amp and are limited to 50. They seems to have tons of activites going on but we couldn’t stay to find out. The spot they gave us had the eclectical box broke, even tho we had been talking with with a whole month an in half. We got tons of help from staff and the campers there.

Hopefully the fix thier issues and we shall return, everyone there seemed to always have fun and enjoy the food that was prepared for them there
