This park has very nice full hookups sites with trees and lawns, some tent only sites at the rear of the park, and several water & electric only sites that are very close together.
The park is in a quiet area with easy access on and off the interstate Highway in southeast Billings. The exit is he same one that leads to the road to downtown, the ball park, and the airport.
The property has a small, nice pool, a playground, a general store, laundry, dump station, and access to the Yellowstone River via a walking path.
The campground is east of Chula Vista in a county park near a reservoir. Full hookup in part, water and electric in others. Well managed and clean. Allows open fires in fire rings.
Two drawbacks to consider if you seek placidness: the park is under the final approach to SAN (Lindbergh Field) and you will hear jets coming down to land from roughly 6a to 11pm. Second concern is ants - not just ants, but strategic and determined ants (spray any points in contact with the ground and ask camp staff to treat your site with diatomaceous earth to deter the bugs. It’s a free service.
Sites are very clean, level, have fire rings and higher numbered sites have water, power, and sewer. There are showers, restrooms, an amphitheater, water playground and sites with horse pens. It’s mostly sunny, with shrubs and smaller trees.
Very pleasant rv campground. Typical California foothills hardpan and dead grass sites - large and able to accommodate very long combo rigs and have enough width to disconnect and park adjacent to the towable.
We had electric service issues and camp hosts, Carlos and Luz, we on it within 20 minutes at 10:30 at night. They worked as a team and showed pride in their park.
Our 4 night stay was pleasant - the park is very quiet and road noise minimal. Water, power and sewer as advertised. If tent or dry camping, showers at the office building.
Small, older RV park with beautiful ponds, meadows, and views of Mt Shasta. The RV park is just a small portion of this property owned and operated by the same family for over 50 years. Sites have 30amp electric, water and sewer. Lots of trees surround the campsites. Mostly level sites. Some close together, others spread out.
Reservations get you in - no assurance on the site you want will be held. Computers aren’t in use - it’s ledger and receipt book type of establishment. It’s quiet at night and owners keep it that way. No music outside your RV.
Old school and it’s nice it’s that way.
Arrived after the office closed and started to read late check in rules and available spaces. Helped to look up to see on the other side of the door envelopes with names, including ours. Access is easy for even large rigs. All sites are paved. Space between sites is reasonable. On site restrooms are very nicely presented. There is an on site pool and outdoor gathering place, a general store, propane vending, a dog walking path and large property behind the park to take pets with a reminder to clean up and pack it out. Garbage service is nice - place the bags by the road and maintenance staff will take it away.
You are a few miles from sisters and about 15 from the outskirts of Bend (the side that has the big box hardware and all purpose stores).
The RV park is quiet and comfortable. There are plenty of trees and green grass at each site. The way the park is laid out, it’s more of an RV neighborhood of travelers.
A pleasant facility that is easy to drive and maneuver with a tow behind trailer. Sites were fairly level with lawn and a picnic table. Property is well maintained.
Sites 1-5 are across from the office and along the road out - so one needs to anticipate truck noise and idling early morning when people might be leaving. The RV park is well behind the casino complex - you need to drive past the truck stop and casino going north to reach the access road (it’s on the way to the golf course).
The casino and golf course are adjacent - but it’s a good hike; use the shuttle or just drive over. The casino facility have several restaurants and movie theaters. The City of Pendleton is about 10 minutes west should you need food or supplies.
