Truly Mooving sites leave you udderly speechless!

Things to know:

  1. There is a gate you have to open and close behind you that will look questionable. Do not let this stop your journey but so close the gate behind you.

We started late at night and ended up choosing this spot to spend the night it was dark and it was hard to see the part on the sign about the Livestock. The sign seemed a little off at first and the fence is certainly a diy build so we were a little confused. The next morning we found ourselves eye to eye with some rather large friends grazing 😂 and it all made sense.

  1. Careful this is a literal cliffs edge.

We did not find the exact spot the first night in the dark we actually went slightly past the turn and when we found ourselves almost eye level with a drone we decided perhaps we would stay put and continue in the morning. We were happy we did because there are literally no signs or barriers. I recommend arriving before sunset. Sunsets anywhere in this area are amazing 😍

It's rocky AF

Hope you have a 4-wheeler or a major strategy is needed.

  1. The weather here is moody

We suddenly had lightning all around us , followed by the sky dumping rain the next morning for hours practically creating a river. Then as soon as it was done it dried up basically like nothing happened. Be prepared for all weather.

This was one of my favorite places I've been so far from the crazy cow encounters, to the lighting storm and incredible views. The stars are amazing the moon was playing peekaboo all night and the colors of the sky were spectacular sites to see. Words can't express you just just have to go visit yourself 🙃 Happy travels!

its a nice spot, bit rocky so the places to camp arent super great, but the view is beautiful 10/10. road up here is really tough, definitely want a high clearance vehicle if you wanna go very far along the ridge

Stargazing spot

This spot is great for watching a meteor shower, gets a little windy and not too much shade during the day.

Gorgeous views once you get pass the rocks

The road leading to the edge is a rough drive (Mazda CX-5), but it is absolutely worth the view. It’s not too hot, and while there aren’t many places for tents because of rocks, we were able to hammock no problem.

Great spot, high clearance recommended!

We stayed here for the meteor shower. One other family in the spot, one person came later, saw us, and went somewhere else.

The drive in, we had to open and close the fence. We are in a 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan. Drive in was rocky, but we made it (very slowly). Bottomed out a few times.

The family we met had a Tacoma, had no problem.
