Description
This trailhead is the northern access point for Green Mountain OHV Trail (#831) , which happens to be the only OHV trail in the Ochoco National Forest at this time. The parking area is small and cannot accommodate many or large vehicles, so please plan accordingly when you come.

Directions
From Prineville, Oregon: Travel north on Main Street for approximately 11 miles to the Ochoco National Forest boundary. Main Street turns into Forest Service Road 27 at the forest boundary. Continue on Forest Service Road 27 for another 2 miles until you will come to the junction of Forest Service Road 27 and Forest Service Road 33. Turn right to get onto Forest Service Road 33 and continue for about 5 miles. Green Mountain North Trailhead is located on your right at the junction of Forest Service Road 33 and Forest Service Road 3320.
