Paradise Cove RV Resort & Marina

Paradise Cove RV Resort & Marina operates as a choose-your-own-site campground with full hookups for RVs up to 50 feet, though the access road to hillside sites with 50-amp service requires careful navigation. The property divides into upper and lower sections, with the lower area providing bay views but tighter spacing between sites.

The campground shows signs of aging infrastructure, including an empty pool area where a lodge once operated. Reviewers consistently note clean bathrooms and showers, with one camper mentioning "clean bathrooms and showers" despite the facility's overall condition. The laundry facilities offer budget-friendly pricing, and a crab cooker sits available on the dock for seafood preparation.

Sites vary significantly in condition and drainage. Some campers report soggy ground conditions, while tent camping requires a seven-minute walk to the single bathroom facility serving that area. The property allows pets and accepts reservations, operating primarily as a long-term campground with transient sites available.

For different camping experiences, Nehalem Bay State Park Campground provides a more traditional state park setting less than two miles away.

Many campers appreciated the clean facilities, friendly staff, and scenic waterfront views with mountain backdrop. Some visitors reported mixed site conditions and aging infrastructure, though most found good value for the price.

Maybe if?

The campground had better days. We wanted a 50amp so we went up the hill. Road is terrible. It’s a long timer campground. It’s a “pick your spot” campground. Our site was soggy. But we were going to pick one. There’s an old lodge where a pool shows on the map. It is empty. Just for fun we went down to the lower area and it has some awesome views. But very crowded. I would probably go somewhere else next time.

Just OK tent camping

There’s only one bathroom on the side of the campground where there’s tent camping and it’s about a 7 min walk from tent sites (though the bathroom was clean). Not ideal if you need to go in the middle of the night. There were few other tent campers. Our site was the biggest so we picked it but there was some trash in it when we got there. Otherwise, staff was friendly. Campgrounds overall were well maintained.

Good RV camping

The bathrooms are clean and well kept. Times for bathhouses in winter are minimal which isn’t optimal but in the summer they are open all the time. The laundry is super cheap and the crab cooler on the dock on the river is awesome.

Pleasently Surprised

After reading other Google reviews we were very hesitant to stay at Paradise Cove, very glad we stayed. We chose a site down by the bay, what a beautiful view, clean bathroom s and showers. Appears to have seen it's better days though.

Choose this park!

This was a beautiful, quiet cove with a view of the water and mountains. The people who run it are very nice also. The price is reasonable. I would highly recommended this park.
