Summit lake

A very beautiful and relaxing area. Road coming from the south and wrapping around the lake is best driven with a 4x4 vehicle. The lake has plenty of opportunities such as boating, paddle boarding, hiking, camping. The camp sites are close to the dusty road and are far and few. Definitely a spot…

Directions

From Sandy, OR - follow Highway 26 south approximately to Primary Forest Route 42. Follow 42 south through the Warm Springs Indian Reservation and back into the national forest. Continue on 42 to Forest Road 4200-141. Follow 4200-141 west about one mile to the campground.
