Close to town

The main draw of this campground is its proximity to the cute town of Florence. We don't tow a car, so being able to camp within walking distance of shops and restaurants is always a treat.

This campground used to have boondock / dry camp spots for a lower cost, but now all sites are FHU.  The sites are packed pretty close together, and wouldn't be pleasant for an extended stay, but for a night or two it's find.  There's a lot of activity with the fishing boats which is fun to watch.

There's a dump station for a fee for non-campers, laundry, showers, a book exchange in the office, trash dumpsters and recycling.

Feel About UNO Online Game

When I first entered the world of uno online, I didn't expect to be so fascinated. Games are not just a simple entertainment activity but also a great way to connect with friends and relatives, wherever they are. Each game is a new adventure where tactics, luck, and team spirit are demonstrated. The excitement when you only have one last card left and the excitement of shouting"UNO!" are comparable. Those are the moments that make your heart beat faster, and sometimes they're the moments that make your day happy.

Cute little market on the port.

Once we got over the fact that we were staying in a graveled parking lot, it was a pleasant stay. The lots were level, with some room between sites. We were staying on a weekend, so there was a pop-up market on the grass space just outside the campground itself. Beyond the market is Old Town. It is full of shops, restaurants, and pubs!

Wind=Dust & Sand

The marina super convenient for boaters and large RV’s. Full hookup. Good cell cover. There’s an empty sandy field near prime waterfront spots near river. Debris blows over each afternoon like a huge cloud of dust. Resolution could be covering field somehow. But prep for not sitting outside due to wind.

Probably bad when busy.

Basic rv lot with hookups. Showers are connected to backroom so lines could definitely get long. 41 bucks a night but right in downtown so no too bad. Wifi was up and down but host was nice.

Excellent Location!

This park is a few minutes walk from quaint old town Florence. Lots of yummy restaurants and some cute shops. It's fairly quiet and the restrooms are clean, showers are hot. The only drawback is that the sites are right on top of each other for the most part. Otherwise it'd be 5 stars! Staff is helpful.

Pricey, But Loved It

Parks that are walking distance to shops and restaurants are such a treat.  There are breweries, restaurants, farmers market (on Tuesday afternoon), shops, etc all within easy walking distance from here.

We stayed at a waterfront site, which was cheaper than the "premium" pull through sites in the middle.  With fees and extra pet fees (you get one pet included in the nightly fee, any additional pets are $2 each) we paid $47 for a night.   The premium sites we would not recommend, unless you must have a pull through site.  Those are basically just spots in a gravel lot with hookups.  Zero division between sites.  And they are the most expensive at $55/night.

There's a nice gazebo to use for group events, but it's an odd set up in that there is no path to the gazebo and it's in the center of a circle of back in sites.  So if all the sites were occupied, I suppose you'd have to walk through someone's site to access it?

So pleasantly surprised to see glass recycling here!  We got to dump off our growing pile of traveling glass recycling.  Mixed recycling is in a separate bin.  But no plastics!

There is laundry here, and showers, but we did not use either.  There's a book exchange shelf in the office.

Their website is out of date: there are no dry camp spots any longer.  All sites are FHU.

Good cell service here and their wifi is good and strong, even in the back end where we were.

We liked this place to splurge on a place close to town, but overall too pricey for us to stay for any length of time.

Great rates right in town

This place is perfect for exploring Florence. Old Town is just a two-minute walk, with lots of restaurants, shops, and galleries. There is also a Safeway just a 15-minute walk away. The waterfront sites are more expensive but the cheaper ones have trees and grass. The staff are friendly and the restrooms are clean, but not fancy. The sites are very close together so I imagine it's very crowded when the campground is full. The nightly rates are lower than nearby private campgrounds, and the monthly rate is very good. Wifi was strong enough most of the time for me to work from home.

Walk to Restaurants and Shops

Visited here several times and love it. It's basically a large gravel and dirt lot with sites. The old area does have trees. Some of the sites back up to the Siuslaw River. You can crab from the nearby docks in Old Town Florence, which is only a couple of blocks away. Bathrooms are clean and office staff have always been very friendly and helpful. Old Town Florence has many restaurants and shops. Very easy access to area for big rigs too.

Very close to the shore line and to Florence

I had a wonderful time staying here for the night. The place is safe and easy to find. They do only allow RVs so i recommend not choosing this place if you have a regular car.

Waterfront RV site & walk downtown

This is quite fun to park the motorhome with a beautiful river view, and then walk next door to Mo’s for some chowder. Walk to everything. The showers and facilities are nice. This RV park makes for a great weekend visit to Florence. Check their website for all amenities, but there is laundry, wifi, bathrooms and showers, a marina, etc.

No car or tent camping allowed. I don't get it.

Who cares if you're in an old run down RV or trailer or much newer stylish car or suv that's setup for camping with a portable Thetford toilet?
I really don't understand why people and RV campground companies discriminate so much against someone camping in their car.

Nice location. Close to shops and restaurants

only stayed one night driving up the coast. The town here is absolutely lovely. We got in late at night and was a pretty simple easy setup (rv). It was hot dry and dusty, but being on the water was really nice...gravel or grass parking spots.
