Good RV campground with store, clean showers, laundry, clean bathrooms, electric, water. Sites are a little close but do have grass and a picnic table in between.
Stopped here for one night on a cross country road trip. 20 minutes off of 84. 3 immediate sites off the road, then toilets, then more sites down the road. Past toilets road is slightly washed. Road noise is present from first 3 sites
This campground was packed but my particular spot had a decent amount of space between me and the campsites on either side. It backed up to a fence (a neighborhood is on the other side apparently). It was a bit of a walk from the bathhouse but not horrible. This particular bathhouse was different…

You will never get bored. There is something to do for everyone in the family! Clean park and friendly staff.
Just stopped here overnight but really glad we found it. Family owned and operated for several generations. Very clean. Showers and toilets nice andy very clean and water is hot! Has a small pool. Cute general store/office and staff was very nice. Most of sites are pull through. Wifi worked great…
Note this is NOT the southern Oregon campground near the Rogue, this is on Phillips Reservoir lake in eastern Oregon. Nice campground, some sites with hookups. Sites are nicely spaced and private enough, and the basic facilities are clean. Nice atmosphere. Minimal cell service on Verizon. I'm…
This is the place summer dreams are made of! Hiking, kayak and SUP rentals. Swimming. Glacial rivers and lakes. Wallowa Lake is in the cute artistic cowboy town of Joseph. Nez Perce territory.
The campground itself can get crowded, with lots of families who return every year, but there is so…

We loved this little first-come, first-serve campground. It's small and squeezed in between the creek, mountain highway (only 2 lanes) and steep hillside with some grazing cattle on the other side. The cattle and road noise was okay for us at night, but if you are a light sleeper it might not be…

The best state park we’ve visited, and we’ve been to many! Right on the lake, close to the tram and hiking, and close to the town of Joseph. We loved it here! The only regret was not staying longer.
CROWDED- the sites are sardine-spaced.
CONGESTED (yes, it was during a holiday weekend, however)- small children running around with limited adult supervision created traffic halts and dogs to bark.
DISREGARD FOR WILDLIFE- multiple children were going up to deer wandering through the…
I want to start off saying that this is a park type camping site. So most things are kept up really well. The grass is well maintained and green. There's an area for day picnic use and then another area for camping. There's areas for you to park rv and vehicles and tent camping. I dont RV so I'm…
Nice clean campground. Sites are spaced apart, so pretty private. Lots of hiking trails along creek and the rogue river. Cafe and store near by.
We were only here as a stopping point for 1 night. We will be back and stay longer... the view were perfect. Fisherman were catching catfish hand over fist. Right there at camp of the docks they had c aught over 20 in 1 day!!! Fishing from the boats they caught 80 in 3 days!!!!
I have been here several times as a child, but my most recent venture was as an adult with my own children. It was really nice to see that not much has changed in the last ten years since I was here last, and my kids can enjoy the same campground Ive been going to since I was their age. The…

As stated in description it's rustic. Not much to it but it did offer a sheltered place to build a fire/get warm and weather a bad storm. In the summer, the long rough road into it is not for everyone. Scenery is good and very quiet. If you want remote with the bare basics, this is the place.
