Our go to spot near the coast.

Olema is our go to spot. Every year with and without grandkids. Clean and friendly staff. The store has the necessities. The kids love the playground and try their hand at shuffleboard. Close to multiple beaches.

Great place. Friendly staff, and lots of activities. Love coming here.

The third time I've been to Lake Siskiyou and I'll be back. I have to say, the only reason my review has four stars instead of five is the sewer set up at my site. Gotta say the other times I've been here it hasn't been an issue. This time, my site 264 had a clean out that was about as high or higher than my trailer outlet. Caused some frustrations, but got them dumped for the most part. They have a dump station at the park exit. If I had realized in time, I would have used that dump site. Not a big, but note worthy.

All in one place.

Camped in our trailer, while son and his family rented a cabin. Great time. Music, restaurant has delicious food, and the fishing wasn't half bad (boat rentals available). This place has thought of everything. So busy we didn't have time to put the kayaks in the water. Made reservations for September 2021 while we were there.

What's not to like?

Nice campground. Easy access to Fallen Leaf Lake and Lake Tahoe. Sites clean and well maintained. Lots of campers, yet quiet. Only downfall is that it's popular. Off season best option.

More than just camping

More to the campground than just camping. Fishing in camp and nearby. Friendly staff. Had originally reserved a back in site, but emailed to hopefully get a pull through. Got a quick reply, and all taken care of. Campground is close to other fishing, the Subway Cave (ya gotta go there) Lassen National Park entrance and much more.

A good KOA

Nice escape. Kinda last minute reservations, but it turned out to be a nice spot. Roads were muddy, but it was January. Kinda pricy, but nice facilities even during COVID. One site had a NINJA setup for their kids. Pretty cool.

Fires on the beach.

Quiet in the off season. Fires on the beach are great. Rediscovered this place in February and have reservations for November. Only down side is if you make reservations in person, they don't guarantee you that spot.

Love it, water or land

Camped here twice, and have plans to go again. Great kayaking, easy launch and enjoy the hiking trail around the lake. My wife enjoyed the ice cream too.

Go to spot

Being close to home doesn't hurt. Love going during the week. Less crowded that way. Good fishing. When the water is up, my favorite spot is 396. I can kayak right from camp.
