Giant trucks and mud bogging events can transform this private campground near the river into a high-energy weekend destination. Soggy Bottom Trails & Campground accommodates RVs up to 50 feet with water hookups, while also offering boat-in, hike-in, and walk-in access options for different camping styles. The property provides standard amenities including restrooms, drinking water, picnic tables, and firewood sales.
Local trails branch out from the campground for exploration, and the nearby river offers direct water access for cooling off or launching watercraft. Weekend mud bogging competitions bring crowds, loud engines, and a party atmosphere that appeals to some campers but may overwhelm others seeking quieter stays. For a different experience, R.C. Longmire Lake sits about 11 miles south with lake-focused camping.
