Pioneer RV Park

Pioneer RV Park operates as a functional overnight stop with full hookups and pull-through sites designed for easy maneuvering. Located west of Guthrie, the park caters primarily to travelers seeking convenient access to local attractions rather than a wilderness experience.

The facility maintains clean restrooms and showers, with an on-site store offering pizza and propane refills. Sites are level but closely spaced, creating a compact layout that several reviewers describe as tight quarters. Most spots appear to accommodate full-time residents alongside short-term visitors. "Not scenic, but clean, level spots," notes Neil T., summarizing the park's straightforward approach to RV accommodation.

The location serves visitors attending events at the Lazy E Arena, just four miles away, or exploring Guthrie's historic downtown district. Nearby dining options include Chicken Shack for fried chicken and local favorites like Missy's Donuts in Guthrie. Rates run around $38 per night with reservations available.

Campers seeking more space or natural settings might consider Guthrie Lake to the northwest, which offers a different camping atmosphere away from the developed corridor.

Many campers appreciated the clean, level sites and spotless facilities at reasonable rates. Some noted the tight spacing and basic field-like setting, but found it convenient for accessing nearby attractions.

Quiet, clean, level

Visit was over Christmas 4 days. Easy to maneuver. Very level sites. Everything worked great. Restrooms and showers spotless. Small store with pizza. $38.00 per nite.

Depends what you are looking for

Looking for a nature centric camping experience? This isn’t your place.

Need a place convenient to the Lazy E Arena, Guthrie or Edmond to base out of of? This could be your spot.

Need an easy on/off overnight spot in central Oklahoma? This could work for that, too.

Not scenic, but clean, level spots. On-site store and propane are handy. Spots aren’t roomy, but I’ve been packed in tighter at other places. All spots look to be pull-through.

Lazy E is only 4 miles away.

Chicken Shack is very close and has great fried chicken. A bigger convenience store and gas station is close as well.

In Guthrie check out Missys Donuts for the best donuts and in Edmond, Texlahoma BBQ is consistently awesome.

Just OK

Nice people and clean space but not much on the “park”. Pretty much just a field with tight spaces. Looks like most folks are full timers.
