Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Dogwood Valley

Water activities take center stage at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Dogwood Valley, where families can swim in both a lake and pools, paddle swan and duck boats, and watch staff feed fish each morning. This family-focused campground operates seasonally from Memorial Day to Labor Day, accommodating RVs up to 60 feet with full hookups including electric, water, and sewer connections.

The campground features a water slide, newer playground, and hiking trail adjacent to the tent camping area. Staff organize daily activities ranging from archery lessons to craft sessions and evening pizza parties. One reviewer noted, "We had plans on going into town for activities but there was so much to do we spent most of the time in the campground." The lake requires either bringing your own life jacket or paying to use theirs.

Access involves navigating backroads that make visitors feel "lost," though the campground sits close to both Cleveland and Columbus. Recent guests mention increasing crowds and higher pricing, with nightly rates ranging from $90 to $235. Bathrooms receive praise for cleanliness and maintenance. For additional camping options in the region, consider campgrounds around Mount Gilead or nearby Mt Gilead State Park Campground.

Reservations are available and pets are welcome at this drive-in campground with WiFi access and a dump station.

Overpriced

Used to love to camp there but it is getting so crowded and overpriced. Bring a life jacket or you will get charged to use theirs in the lake, which is also a charge.

Family friendly so much to do

We camped here in 2019 and fell in love. It's a great campground with so much to do. Lots for kids of all ages. We had plans on going into town for activities but there was so much to do we spent most of the time in the campground. We swam in the lake and pools. We loved the paddle boat ducks and swans. The kids had the best time at archery. We watched them feed the fish at the lake in the morning, that was such a fun experience. I've never seen that many fish that big up close. The tent area was right next to a hiking trail which the kids loved exploring. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. We can't wait to go back

Perfect for families

Nice campground close to Cleveland and Columbus. You feel like you’re lost taking the backroads to get there. We went in April so the water stuff wasn’t open. It does have a lake with paddle boats, water slide, newer playground, and pool. The staff was great! Even in April there was tons of planned events for the kids. Our favorites were crafts and the train ride. They had a pizza party at night and gave our family an entire box.
