Very beautiful scenery awesome fishing and camping sights friend and family oriented a most go to place for young kids and family outing
Campground was nice and well maintained. The "Camp Host" came around a few times a day to ensure trash was picked up and needs were met. Site 8 has full hookups and a concrete parking pad. The roses are narrow and the larger rig next to us had issues getting in. The sites on our side of the road…

Great site. It's not listed on maps, but it is right across the way from hook lake, there is an access road you'll go on that will take you there. It's right off 83 in McConnellsville, outside Caldwell, ohio. Beautiful spot, there is a pond for boating and fishing. Fish are bluegill, bass, red…
I’ve been here twice and I will be back!
I liked the thought of a smaller campground. Less noise and people. Even though it rained the majority of our trip, it was a great time. The staff is super friendly and keep everything nice and clean. Highly recommend for a nice, quiet weekend!
Staff was great!! View was Fantastic! Showers & restrooms were super clean & nice!!!! Sites were level. Laundry building was great also! Grounds were well kept. Phone & WiFi good. Only downside would be road noise on front sites.
This is a great state park campground. We stayed at an electric site. The spots are decent sized, plenty of restrooms, pool, playground and camp store that sells ice cream! Tubing down the creek next to the campground was super cool too. Cabins looked very nice and secluded. We hiked to the…
This campground is a full hookups, outdoor adventure destination. If you like canoeing, kayaking, rafting, high ropes courses, mini golfing, go carting, hiking, swimming (indoor pool and in a lake), fishing, and paddle boating, then you will LOVE this place!! The shower houses are VERY nice, very…
This park is huge! There are several areas to pay for camping as well as primitive camp. It’s near the water and they offer several trails. Other than the trails, there is a stone house to view as well as a cave. We explored both and thought they were both interesting. The paid sites are pretty…

The Park & Pack sites were a bit confusing online, so I decided on a solo exploratory trip before bringing my 9yr out.
After getting to the Ranger kiosk everything was pretty self explanatory. I stayed at Campsite 3, which was beautiful, tucked off of the trail beside a wide stream. Fair…
A good, clean, well maintained campground. Pool, walking trail, dog friendly, restaurant, gravel pads. We would return…
We stayed one night on our way out west and this place was not far from the highway and it was super quiet. Perfect restful night it’s just what we needed.
Stayed on a tent site. Highway right in front of us with trucks all night and sites right on top of one another. I gave it two stars because the bathrooms were clean and campground was well maintained.
We stayed here for 3 nights with other family members. The park has soooooo much for kids to do it was amazing.
Short drive from Der Dutchmen, and plenty of fun places to sight see.
Would for sure come back here again.
The little drive around the pond is a bit of a butt clencher though.

This was our first visit and definitely will not be the last. Park is very clean, bathrooms were spotless and very modern. We appreciated the indoor pool. The staff was very polite and helpful. Overall This was great place to camp. Full hookup for campers and trash service.
