Claremar Twin Lakes Camping Resort

This private resort operates seasonally from May through October, accommodating RVs up to 40 feet with full hookups including electric, water, and sewer connections. The campground sits on open terrain near twin lakes in Wellington, with rates ranging from $39-79 per night depending on site selection and season.

Site conditions vary significantly across the property. Several campers mention challenges with road access, particularly on interior routes leading to individual sites. "On a good note everything was very clean even for being under construction," notes Amanda M., though she also found her assigned site smaller than expected with a downward slope. Some sites lack fire pits, and spacing between seasonal camper setups can feel tight in certain sections.

The resort features lake access with a beach area and lifeguarded swimming during operating hours. A pool remains under construction based on recent visitor reports. Golf cart rentals are available for $95 per day but cannot be reserved in advance and go quickly. The property includes standard amenities like restrooms, showers, and a dump station, though some facilities may be temporarily unavailable during construction periods.

Campers seeking places to camp near Sullivan will find this location offers lake recreation and full hookup convenience, though site quality and road conditions merit consideration when making reservations.

Several guests observed incomplete facilities and poorly maintained sites despite high pricing. One camper appreciated the friendly atmosphere, but most found value lacking due to missing amenities and cramped layouts.

Clar Mar/ Twin Lakes

After booking online, they changed my reservation site to a small spot no where near the bathrooms as I asked. She told me it was right across from the site. Not true. No fire pit in this spot and the site was so small, (my driveway is bigger). Not the picture that supposedly represented what I was paying for. We went home very disappointed. The kids were so excited to go camping and it wasn't worth paying for. We will NEVER reserve a spot at this campground again.

Crappy place

I have family that has had their camper here for 2 seasons. The road to their camper is horrid to drive down. There’s no where for extra cars to park. The pool, and I use that term loosely, isn’t even done. It’s so small for the size of the campground. Today, we were at the beach with many other people. There was 1 lifeguard who thought it was more important to chat with the girls, turning his eyes away from the swimmers, he’d chase them, throwing sand at them, he completely LEFT his lifeguard station several times to go to the life jacket barn and again, talk to others rather than watch the water. After the third time he left, I walked over and asked him if he was the only lifeguard on duty, he said he was. I asked him to call the manager over and was told he was on the other side of the campground if I wanted to speak to him. I happen to know the manager personally, which I relayed to him. This is NOT the first time we’ve seen the lifeguards not watching the swimmers. I stopped at the office on my way out and asked them to call the manager, only to be told he was off. My grandchildren swim there, but after this season, they won’t be camping there, thank God.

Crowded but clean

First and foremost this campground is very expensive (2 nights $200) Shortly after arriving and discovering we had a very small site that was a downward slope we discovered the map that was given to us was very inaccurate. Showed restrooms that were either locked all weekend or still being built. They offer golf carts for $95 a day but they go very quickly and cannot be reserved. Said golf carts are also not regulated in anyway being almost ran over multiple times by full cart loads of children with no adult in site. The golf carts just added to the noise and general chaos of this campground. On a good note everything was very clean even for being under construction. Everyone was very friendly and happy to stop and say hello.

not worth the trip

stopped here for 2 days . The lake was pretty but nothing was maintained . too many seasonal campers squeezed together and layout was all over the place .

I was put all the way in the back by ourselves which was fine but the grass was 8 inches high and peoples garbage was all over .

the list laundry and WIFI on the amenities but have neither .

I would not recommend.

Very nice, quaint, quiet getaway spot

This is one of our favorite campgrounds to visit every year. There is always a very friendly atmosphere. It's a nice place to get away, that isn't going to break the bank.
