Lake Metigoshe State Park Campground near Bottineau provides RV sites with 30-amp electric hookups, water, and sewer connections. The park accommodates larger rigs with full-service sites, though campers report the spaces are positioned quite close together with limited privacy between neighbors. International Peace Garden offers additional RV accommodations with electric, water, and sewer hookups, including 30-amp service and multiple pull-through rv pads for easier parking. Buffalo Lake County Park provides more basic RV spots without hookups but allows RV parking with picnic tables and drinking water available. "Campsites are all pretty close together without much in the way of barriers between campsites, particularly in the South and North Hill areas."

Most RV parks in the Bottineau area operate seasonally, with Lake Metigoshe open year-round while International Peace Garden closes from October through May. Sanitary dump stations are available at several locations including Carbury Rec Area and Antler Memorial Park. Big rig access varies significantly between parks - Lake Metigoshe and International Peace Garden can accommodate larger motorhomes, while smaller parks like Granville City Park offer more limited spaces. Cell service is generally reliable at established campgrounds but may weaken in more remote locations. Visitors should note that while most parks allow pets, Carbury Rec Area prohibits them. Advance reservations are recommended for Lake Metigoshe during summer months as reviews indicate it becomes crowded during peak season.

      Towner City Park

      Perfect quiet overnight spot

Stopped here on a whim as I was traveling through on my way to Glacier NP. As I pulled in, a farmers market was being set up in a pavilion at the park. Bought some yummy sourdough bread and jam! Sites are pretty informal with 4 electric hook ups. They look to be both 30 and 50 amp. Grass and mostly level, I was able to back in and hook up easy. They ask for a donation in a box posted in the camping area, otherwise free of charge. Very nicely kept park with sand volleyball court, tennis court and playground area. Lots of space for tents. One other camper here on a Friday night.Bonus was the dump station on the road side into the park! Definitely on my favorite list!

      Lake Metigoshe State Park Campground

      Great Family-Oriented Spot

Stayed at Washegum campground overnight and although the camping spots were very close together there's a lot of vegetation and trees separating the lots. Beautiful playground right behind us, and an amphitheater as well. There's multiple hiking trails, a dog park, swimming area, and picnic areas as well! Very kid and dog friendly, we will definitely be visiting again.

      Lake Metigoshe State Park Campground

      Birch Trees Everywhere!

This campground tucked away in the turtle mountains next to Lake Metigoshie is definitely worth the visit! The campground is located in a state park so rules do apply. Tents, rvs, cars are are easy to maneuver in and out with a pump station located in the park. The 4 season playground is home to a ski park near by with a brand new chalet and updated runs with a terrain park( depending on snow conditions) public beach access, hiking trails, snowmobile trails, and the International Peace Gardens located not to far away either! I recommend camping in the fall with tree colors! WOW!

      Minot AFB FamCamp

      Very Cheap

Extremely affordable sites, with water and electric. Dump available. Only 6 sites total. Sites are concrete pads, but far from level. Site 1’s water is not working, so we had to piggyback off or site 2 with our own splitter.

The park is relatively quite, but is used some early mornings for Unit PT and during the day for other unit and small group activities.

      Antler Memorial Park

      Okay campground

Decent campground with horse ring, stables, electric hookups, pavilions, 25ish campsites. Several very large 5th wheels, a couple of normal-sized pull behind campers, and of course tents. Not crowded at all, maybe around 25ish campers.

Had 1 bar with Verizon -- could send texts but calls drop after a couple of seconds. Dump station and restrooms here. No showers.

      Neameyer Field Campground

      In town Campgroup

Well it’s some RV sites in town by the football/baseball field. Mostly occupied by construction crews in the summer. Not a destination campground and best for construction crews and visiting family/friends in town with an RV. No shower or bathroom - a port a potty only

      Lake Metigoshe State Park Campground

      Beautiful State Park

This State Park is in North Dakota near the Canadian border. With a very large body of water that has many amenities from fishing, boating, canoeing, kayaking and paddle boarding. There are bike & canoe/kayak rentals right outside the park and a couple different campgrounds to choose from inside the park, ours was just a few feet from the lake and fishing dock. Depending on which campground you choose you will either have a vault toilet or a more convenient bathroom with toilets & showers! Staff was very nice and accommodating. There was even an Ice cream truck that rolled thru everyday for the kiddos!

      Lake Metigoshe State Park Campground

      Great Place to Unplug

Really enjoyed this state park. Lots of wildlife. Full hookups, clean sites and facilities—nicest public showers we have ever seen! Went fishing, swimming, explored the hiking and bike trails and did some geocaching. The International Peace Garden is about a half hour drive and that was beautiful as well.
