Towner City Park operates four electric hookups on grassy, mostly level ground where RVs can back in without difficulty. The municipal campground uses a donation-based honor system with a collection box posted in the camping area. Both 30 and 50 amp connections are available.
The park includes a sand volleyball court, tennis court, and playground area alongside ample space for tent camping. A roadside dump station provides convenient access for RV travelers. Campers can explore camping spots around Towner or continue west to Denbigh Experimental Forest Dispersed for a different camping experience. The site maintains low occupancy with typically one or two campers on weekends.
