Beautiful and quiet.

it was peaceful and not close to one another while we stayed. A lot of people right on lake.

On the water!

We have a rather large rig (36 ft fifth wheel plus the truck) & while fish creek is notoriously a tent only/small rig campground we fit perfectly & our site has cell service! 10/10! Site 106! The water views/access is hard to beat as well.

Our favorite place

We try to make an annual trip here in late September, after the throngs of summer crowds have left. The sites are varied as to size and desirability, not all are level for trailers and rv’s, so do some research ahead of time to find the spot that is perfect for you. We enjoy kayaking, and there is plenty of access for that here. So many of the ponds connect that you could paddle for days and not get bored. We always go for a spot that has easy, shallow access to the lake, some are steeper to maneuver. The bathrooms are well kept, but very basic. There is a central shower house (free) with many stalls so there is rarely a wait. Summer months are very crowded there, reservations always encouraged (and currently required due to COVID). If you enjoy leaf-peeping, I recommend the last week of September when the colors and the mountains are just gorgeous! We were at site #147 which was huge and had easy access to the lake with our kayaks, and had a water spigot between it and the next site. No w/e/s hookups at any of the sites, but there is a three-lane dump station for your convenience if you are in an RV.

Full of traditions and families camping for generations

With around 300 campsites that surround the water, this remains one of the busiest campgrounds in the Adirondack Park. The campsites are close, so if you're looking for more separation, nearby Rollins is a better option. Despite it being busy, it's still a fun place to camp and spend time on the water. Most of the campsites are fairly flat and spacious, and the water is great for swimming and watersports. My families including my own have been camping there for several decades, so it becomes a fun family tradition and trip to look forward to each year.

Lakefront sites in a large campground

Though this campground is one of the largest in the Adirondack mountains, it is also beautiful. There are many activities that available there, ranger programs swimming bicycle riding hiking fishing and boating. Though the campground is quite large it is quiet at night. There is also lots to do in the surrounding area.

Great for fishing

It was such a beautiful place to go fishing! Placed right in the middle of the Adirondacks. Some of the campsites had docks right next to them! It was the perfect place to go to fishing, you could be casting within seconds!

Lovely place to Camp

Not too far from Tupper Lake in the Adirondak Mountains most camp sites right on the water of clean/clear Fish Creek Pond . Most sites have shade and some have docks with them. Vendors of Wood, Ice Cream, Pansteries/baked goods, bait, and others come through the camp area once a day. There is an outdoor church for those interested in Mass and or Services on Sundays. Things to do for the kids like arts and crafts A general store with EVERYTHING you can think of is a bout a couple miles off the property. There is time for sailing canoeing motor boating including skiing. Fishing right off the banks of your site is a convenient way to fish as much as you like. Rangers patrol constantly keeping all the campers safe and provide a enjoyable atmosphere. Love to take weeks at a time to stay in this lovely area. A canoe portage is available which connects to Rollins Ponds its sister camp ground
