About This Campground

Welcome to Malouf’s Mountain Sunset Campground, a hike in, hike out, unique camping resort. We can supply you with almost everything needed to have a relaxing stay in the woods. This truly is carefree camping– a place our guests have said is like getting away, to come home!

We have just the right campsite for you. Our platform sites give you a little extra shelter and comes standard with a chowbox which holds all the cooking equipment you will need for your stay while still offering an authentic camping experience. Our primitive sites are great for those more hearty campers who have their own gear and tents. There is no electric on either type of site, however there is electric at the bath house and vending area. All water in our camp is drinkable. We have Free WIFI at our common picnic area.

We are a hike in/ hike out camping resort. There is no overnight parking at any of the trailhead access points. Due to the mountainous terrain there is no car access to the campground. If arriving by car, you can park at the Beacon train station. For trail heads/ Access Points 1, 2 and 3– There are two ways to get to the access points. First option you can sign up for our transport service. This option brings you to the trail head of your choice and your gear to your site while your enjoying your hike in. Please limit your gear to one duffle bag or backpack, one sleeping bag per person, and one cooler upto 48 QT per site. Second option would be for you to find your own way to the trail head and back pack in with your gear.
