"There's a nice loop that goes around a pond perfect for walking pups, about a 0.5 mi loop total and you can get to it from the back of the park. Archaeological exploration: The Blackwater Draw archaeological site is just a mile from Oasis State Park. "Lots of interesting birds, if you're a birder and a mile away from Blackwater Draw, a major archaeological site. I'd definitely stop again if I'm in the area," shares Rae D.

Clean facilities: Travelers World Campground maintains well-kept amenities. "Very happy with the facility here. Clean shower/restroom. Not sure about other amenities because of weather, but the little store had Blue Bell ice cream!" reports L Robert T.
Shade availability: Unlike many sites in the region, Akers RV Park offers tree cover. "Nice little park with great shade, fast Wi-Fi, and very clean. Owners are nice," notes Scott A.

Site selection: At Oasis State Park, certain sites offer better views and experiences. "Sites: 29 is the absolute best. All are great. 24-29 offer the deepest views into the prairie. I anticipate these will offer the best sunrises," recommends Roger W.
Hookup specifics: Full hookups are limited in the area. "We ended up getting the one RV Spot with all three hookups which was nice. Number 17 is the only one with sewer!" advises Karen P.
Local amenities: Travelers World Campground offers additional services beyond basic camping. "This place was great, clean camp grounds and level spots! The couple running it were super friendly. They have propane if you need it. We stayed one night," shares Lindy R.
