"Nice park with about 130 pull thru spots. It is very crowded however and with a location near a highway it is nothing to write home about. Small park, 3 fenced in dog areas, and a laundry facility."

"This is a 130 spot park. Totally designed with pulling through in mind. All sites are concrete and full hook up. Excellent over the air TV reception. Verizon coverage is solid 5 bars."

Fantastic views, friendly staff. Clean digs. Some improvements maybe for the camp kitchen. We stayed in the tent Cabin 2 and loved every minute of it. It was cold and it heated up quickly. Everything we needed for a nice stay and the bed was comfy.

    Great New Mexico Stop

We stopped on either end of our trip to the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. It was a great midway point from home. We stayed in a patio site. The site was spacious and level. A fire pit with chairs, a propane grill, and table with 4 chairs was provided. The kids enjoyed cornhole, basketball, tetherball, and the playground. The store was well stocked. I only wish more local products were sold. Many of the items that appeared to be made by Native Americans were actually imported from overseas. We also wish the community room had board games or movies to check out. The coffee and pastries was a great touch! We will definitely be back to explore the area more. Employees were friendly and kind. A great place to stay!

    Las Cruces KOA

    Best KOA so far

Very good looking park. Grounds are nice and seem well maintained. Features a good looking basketball court, dog run area, child run area, and picnic area. Couldn't use the pool because it closes at 7pm - LAME!

Bathroom was old feeling, cramped, and a bit smelly. I had two silverfish in the shower with me that I didn't invite.

My site was one with no sewer hookup and I appreciate that cheaper option. Site had a picnic table and fire ring.

Views for days and soft tent sites

After about 308 miles on the road today we were tired. The desolate stretches of highway between Tucson and Las Cruces had paid their toll and we were very happy to at last see the Las Cruces KOA Campground sign.

We had called in advance and were insured that tent camping was not yet full and we could come and make ourselves at home. Unknowing if we would make it before the office closed between 6:00 and 6:30 we were delighted to see the friendly face of Anne when we arrived.

She assisted us with not only a great campsite but also providing a map with items potentially of interest and some knowledge about our next days activity.

Our campsite was near the bathrooms and on a grassy area with plenty of shade. We were provided with a grill station and picnic table as well as water at the site and parking just in front along the slight fence line.

The campground facilities provided a half basketball court and play area as well as a gazebo for looking at the views during sunset. Those views were amazing overlooking the city and into the mountains as the night fell from the distance.

We found an outdoor grill area upon arrival which offered a little more relief from winds than our campsite itself so were able to use our camp stove there and also have a nice area to sit and eat peacefully.

There was a pool and it looked very inviting, however it was not open until mid month, a sad negative to us upon arrival.

I did take notice for those rv camping they also provided full hook ups and cable. To all campers wifi was available as well.

    🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰

Overall this campground gets 5 of 5 Bunnies. The security of code locked facilities as well as comfortable facilities made for a pleasant experience in Las Cruces as a pass through city on our venture.

    Las Cruces KOA

    Beautiful views

Easy access off the I10 and very close to town and stores and restaurants . The campground is set up on a hill providing beautiful 180 degree views. The staff person in the office was wonderful, professional and helpful. There is a nicely stocked store. The park is very clean and the utilities were in great shape and easy to connect. There is a concrete pad assuring a level site. The picnic table was the nicest that we have seen, it was very clean, in perfect condition and made from great material. It is a lovely campground and we’ll be back.

    Las Cruces KOA

    Laundry day

Got here around 7pm. The only sites available are tent sites which is fine as we are self contained and small. The tent sites are flat for parking. The bathrooms are clean. The Big rigs are very close to each other. The only downside is it was a cold night and a few rigs turned a generator on. Nice store. No front loader laundry. But the laundry was pretty quick. The staff is very nice.

    Las Cruces KOA

    5 Stars – Great Experience!

Just spent a few nights at the Las Cruces KOA and it was awesome! The sites are super clean and well-spaced, and we loved the views overlooking the city and mountains—especially at night with the lights. https://mapsdirectionsdriving.com/ staff was really friendly and helpful. Big shoutout to the clean restrooms(yes, marble floors!) and the dog park, which our pup loved.

Wi-Fi worked great(even for Zoom calls), and the pool was a perfect bonus for our warm afternoon. We stayed in a KOA Patio Site with a fire pit, and it was worth it! It’s also super convenient—just off I-10 but still peaceful.

Took a short drive to La Mesilla and the farmers market in Las Cruces—definitely recommend both. White Sands is also not too far if you’re up for a day trip. We planned for one night but stayed three—totally worth it!

    Las Cruces KOA

    Great Stop When Passing Through

We stopped at this KOA for one night while passing through New Mexico.   We had a great view of the valley below and our site had everything we needed--full hookups. We were pretty close to others but that's not unusual for a KOA. Nothing wrong with this place but not a luxurious campground.
