Perfect!

I really enjoyed this spot. I was driving cross-country and this campsite was the perfect place to bed down for the night. It’s at the foothills of the eastern side of the Sandia Mountains and makes for some amazing views.

Okay for a quick stop on the way

Not exciting but right on the Rio Grande. Quite and friendly.

Great Base Point for Santa Fe Attractions

Friendly staff. Clean grounds and bathrooms. Urban location that has bus stop right outside that takes you downtown to Plaza for $1 senior or $2 regular all day pass.

Very clean but no shade

We stayed at the Buffalo Grove Site #66 for one night. If you have an RV/trailer, Buffalo Grove is the best loop as all have 30/50 Amp, city water hookup, covered table, lantern and paved sites. There are other loops in the campground that may have 50 amp and no water or 15/30 amp with water and…

Rustic Camping along the Rio Grande

Camping in the Gorge! Several sites available all along Route 570. We stayed at a primitive area right at Taos Junction. Clean bathrooms—great camp host. Very hot during the day so make sure you have some shade, no shelters. Beautiful camping right next to the river!

Creekside Camping

Great places on forest roads up the creekside forest road. The road is tough so go slow.

Sitenot numbered but dispersed.

Total experience

At first you think oh no, it’s just a parking lot. You pull into your periphery space because you did reserve, and as you set up, you realize that all in front of your door there is open space. Trees, wild flowers. Maybe the stream.

The other campers come here as often as they can. They have…

Juniper Campground

Campground is clean and now has bear vaults at each site. The bathrooms were clean and are not lit at night. Find your flashlight. There are no showers. There is a mix of sites with some having more shade and privacy than others. A nice place to camp.

Accessible with some trash

Easy access to Highway 4 does mean car noise present, but only saw 1 other group of people while camping on a Wednesday night. Significant amount of scattered glass present in pretty much every campsite and in the fire pits with some scattered trash.

Sweet little spot

We got there during night check in but went in to talk with the camp host in the morning. She was very sweet and kind! The bathrooms are being remodeled and are so pretty! Best showers ever! The tent sites were small but nice for a night. However it was bright with a light right outside the tent.

Great Camping Near Santa Fe

Views here are stunning. Campground has both electric and water hookups. Bathrooms and showers are spotless. Really enjoyed a one night stay on our way from Santa Fe to Albaquerque.

Good for location

Not a park where I’d want to pop out the awning and stay a while. Functional and clean bathrooms. We couldn’t access the WiFi but phone hot spot worked.

Very nice staff

I'm an EV driver and was my first time spending the night in an RV park. With the right adapter was able to easily hook up. Very nice staff.

Very nice RV/Tent park. Operated by the town of Bernalillo, New Mexico. Prices range from $10.00 per night for tents and $20.00, $30.00, $35.00 per night for Rvs. Great view of the Rio Grande and Sandia Mountains. Just 15 minutes from Albuquerque. All RV sites have electric but most have…

Although they’ve tried to make handicap accessibility adaptations the main office is completely inaccessible. The women’s restroom has a large lip on the entry door and the handicap restroom is still fairly narrow and anybody with a wheelchair will have difficulties. None of the shower stalls are…
