Great location. Not far from Alamogordo. The views are amazing. We stayed further down than where the rest of the campers are at so very quiet. Woke up this morning and they just laid more dirt down on the road so should be better getting in and out. The main road to here is paved and leads to Oliver Lee State Park. The only complaints would be there is a lot of broken glass around so be careful walking your dogs. Would definitely come back here.

Beautiful Forest with wonderful people
Roadtrip from Michigan, saw this place and decided we had to go! So glad we did! It’s packed full because of a bike race but super friendly locals and everyone making space. Skunk ran right through our camp, I wouldn’t go past the V in the road with a transit with mini van in tow lol

Bees and horseflies
It's late June. Weather is nice and the sites are beautiful, but the insects are really buzzing. Be careful if you are allergic to bees. There's also a fire ban which is a camping bummer.
