Atlantic Shore Pines Campground

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Pull-through sites with room for rigs up to 80 feet define the layout at Atlantic Shore Pines Campground in Tuckerton, New Jersey, a privately run facility with full hookups, WiFi, and on-site showers. Sites are packed sand, which tracks into campers and gear, so a good broom is worth packing. AT&T cell service has tested well here, and the grounds stay clean according to multiple reviewers. Rates run $65 to $220 per night depending on site type and season.

The campground sits close to Bass River State Forest, giving hikers and anglers a nearby outlet, and restaurants and shops in Tuckerton are just a few minutes away by car. Long Beach Island is roughly 25 minutes out, making this a workable base for day trips to the Jersey Shore. The staff draws consistent praise across reviews. Early-season visits tend to be quieter, though reviewers note the campground fills with long-term rigs as summer approaches, which reduces privacy between sites.

"Lots of long term rigs and not very private," notes Jeryl O., a useful heads-up for campers who want separation from neighbors. Leveling can take some effort on certain sites, as the ground is not uniformly flat. The well-stocked camp store and maintained hookups help offset the practical friction. Campers wanting a different setup in the area might consider Pilgrim Lake Campground or Chestnut Lakes Resort as alternatives with distinct layouts.

Great Stay at Atlantic Shore Pines Campground!

My family and I stayed here this weekend. The campground is now known as Atlantic Shore Pines. This place is very close to Bass River State Park with lots of hiking and outdoor activities. Restaurants and stores in Tuckerton are just a few minutes away. This campground is about 20 minutes from LBI, and 35 minutes from Ocean City. The site we had was a pull through and very spacious. The whole place was quiet and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. AT&T cell service was great. We will definitely stay here again.

Well kept, spacious, good facilities

Very nice campground-- good sized sites, well maintained hookups, clean grounds, friendly staff, well-stocked campstore. The only drawback was my site was not very level and took a few tries to get levelled, but everything else made up for it. Sites are packed sand so be prepared with a good broom because it tracks everywhere. We had a great time and will definitely return.

Perfect Camping Trip

Just had our first stay at this campground and we loved it. The site was spacious and right across from the bathrooms. Bathrooms were very clean. The ladies in the front office were very kind and welcoming. Only about 25 minutes from Long Beach Island. It's early in the season so it was relatively quiet, I imagine it's much busier during the summer. It was the perfect start to our camping season!
