We spent a weekend here and we loved it! Our site was spacious and backed up to a little ravine so it was fairly private even though it was right next to the bathrooms (also convenient). We weren’t far from a hand pump water spigot, either. The host was friendly and attentive and made rounds…
We loved Moose Brook State Park Campground. There are many wooded sites and lots of very private ones too. Some sites rim a grassy field. There’s a newer bathroom with hot water, showers, and a dishwashing station. And the location is perfect for hiking the Randolph Trails or Appalachia.
90% of the campers are RVs here. They have sites along the river and a more wooden tent area as well. We stayed at the wooded tent area. I wish camp security would patrol more often as some campers would play excessively loud music throughout the weekend.
The river sites are pretty close together…

Most amazing spot I’ve ever camped and not too many people. Used the tent sides a quick hill walk down from the parking lot. River great for splashing around and nearby path to Lincoln Woods trail.

Close enough to all the major attractions, while also providing a warm family vibe. We visit regularly!
The trail up is steady, good footing, not many rocks and several stream crossings. The view from the cabin was nice but from the summit was disappointing. The spring was a little more than a trickle but the area was set back from the cabin and clean. The cabin had been cleaned by a ranger the night…
If you like yurts, cabins, or tent camping they have it all. The general store is stocked with your general food items and other camping needs items. Great for groups if you are getting/sharing a cabin. Bathhouse is large and nearby.
hiked down a trail and found the most relaxing spot right by the river!
This is a great spot to start getting into camping with less amenities and more outdoors. I have been going there for 20 years and I still recommend it. Drive up the dirt road and find a nice riverside camp site. 3 miles of seclusion if you want. Great hiking trails directly off Tripoli . Hiking…
We've been coming here for years! Located in the Mount Washington Valley, this campground is a gem. It's nestled between the Saco and Ellis Rivers. Clean water, great swimming, tubing and fishing. Mountains and hiking are within easy reach and a day spent at the campground itself is never a…
This is one of many state parks all clustered around a few bodies of water in Vermont. The campground has a mix of standard tent/rv(no hook ups) sites and lean-to shelters. Sites are relatively close to one another but have a decent amount of vegetation between them to create a little more…

Another amazing campground in the White Mountain National Forest. This is a very large campground with many sites and it fills up quickly in the summer season. You can reserve some sites while others(the super nice ones) are first come-first serve. There are a few sites that sit right on the pond…

I stayed here with a group in 2019, the park was quiet and clean. Some of the sites were a little wet so be be careful what site you get, watch out for 66 through 69. I was in 64 and it was fine.
Bathrooms and showers are nice. Area B in the back is great with some nice views and a small beach…
Absolutely beautiful place to camp!
