Boat-in access only makes this free dispersed site on the Connecticut River a self-selecting destination. Registration through the CT River Paddler's Trail website is requested, not required, to help manage crowding. The site has two distinct camping areas: one elevated with a picnic table and fire ring, one flat and lower-suited for tents. The rocky beach works well for loading and unloading. Tick pressure is high in the adjacent cornfield, though the campsite itself is less affected. ATV intrusion has been reported at night. Anglers and paddlers exploring camping near Groveton may find this a useful overnight stop between river segments.
