Great spot.

Spent a few nights here. People are amazing. Pool, patio, laundry, nice outdoor kitchen. Common room off the pool area is stocked with tons of books and videos. Comfy couches.

Safe and friendly park

Desert Sands is a clean park under great management. The staff is so helpful. There are two dog runs, not large but well appointed. The clubhouse is cozy, the laundry facility clean and the machines new, and the pool deck has a great patio area. There's night security, and anything you need within a close drive. This is a great place.

Affordable RV park

So this place really didn’t have much for families except a pool, but everyone was super nice and chill. A lot of long-term people but overall clean and affordable. Make sure you lock up it’s on the east side of Las Vegas. They do have a good restaurant on the property. So check it out!

Here are my star ratings based on my lifestyle and what I like. I'm also a mother, dog mama, and a wife so it's not just me it's my crew and i. 1 star- AUTOMATIC relocate… the property is no longer there, trashed or/and I could never have my children there and I wouldn't ever think about staying no matter what. 2 star- Not really my jam, and would NEVER go to again… It probably more of desert life and not really my style for sure…Being from Vegas I can't stand being in the desert and I love the Trees and the Green more than anything. 3 star- Would stay there again in a pinch, but not really my style, the reason its not is because not enough family things to do, the scenery, or the location… but I would go again and feel safe having my kiddos here but only if I needed to in a pinch. 4 star- a really good rating for sure, maybe needed some improvements, minor things like being on top of each other, not a lot of privacy, but honestly little cosmetic things that aren't anything to sweat and would be back again for sure. 5 star- MY FAVORITE… love the location, safety, the surroundings, big camp spots available to fit toys for my kids to play, hammocks to hang, our big family tent, cases of firewood, our suburban or RV, etcccccc….. I would not only come back but would live if I could!!! Anyway thanks for reading and enjoy every moment like it's your last! CHEERS!

Great SAFE park..

First time living in 5th wheel 26 ft camper home. The staff is always helpful and mailroom lady helpful. The park always clean and security present always, plus they do rounds every hour and at dark the gate closed to one car entry with security officer to validate entry which as a single lady I prefer.  Clubhouse nice with tv games for families and pool has bbq station as heated pool with hot tub beside pool nice chairs to layout and also designed with seating around pool. I feel safe which if needed I have CCP for Vegas but don't feel need weapon in park but out in streets of Vegas always good idea. Covid has made homeless issues out in every area of Vegas but this park does great job as have not seen one homeless in Park. As everyone has to show Id at gate.. I have spent first month with no issues and two dog parks with grass parks close by within 1.5 miles.

Desert Sands RV Resort

Many older RV's with long-term stays.  However, it is an interesting old place... with Pittman General Store & Café, pool with outside walls, full hook-ups, laundry, mail service, security, and adults only.  Easy access to downtown Las Vegas, with nearby shopping malls and casinos.
