Springview Recreation Area is located near Springview, Nebraska, featuring flat plains and open spaces. Temperatures range from lows around 20°F in winter to highs near 90°F in summer. Description
Located on the northeast edge of Springview, the Springview Recreation Area is a hub of activity throughout the summer months. The recreation area features picnic shelters, a playground, baseball diamond and basketball and tennis courts. Six camper pads are available with electrical hookups and a waste dump. A restroom/shower facility is open during the summer months for public use. The area is a popular spot for family gatherings, church picnics etc. The recreation area is bordered on the north by the local golf course, to the east by an extended recreation area. This area has a roping arena where local cowboys and cowgirls host roping competitions. Recently added is a mud volleyball pit.
