Rough Road, Big Views

We were pleasantly surprised at the beautiful views and quiet sites at Revenue Flats. It was well worth the 5 mile rough road with steep climb at the end. We drove a F450 with triple slide truck camper and made it ok. Also saw a 2 wheel drive 30 foot class C motorhome that made it but would not…

Great camping spot

Went hammock camping with some friends. Tents are most likely needed if you cannot find trees. Amazing views during the day and at night. Can do some rock climbing as well. I would recommend a vehicle with AWD and/or 4wd.

Tight climbing

Pulled up to this spot and camped under the most beautiful night sky I’ve ever seen. Road in was no beuno for the Honda Civic. She barely made it up and couldn’t make it all the way back to some of the climbing spots. Not restrooms or services but tons of little designated pull outs and fire rings.…

From intersection of US Highway 287 and State Highway 84 (Norris), travel 3 miles west down Sterling Road. Then, take a left (south) and continue down the dirt road for approximately 2 miles to public land.
