Beautiful and Busy

This site was lovely. We pulled in around 5pm or so and there was only one spot available next to the restroom. Lucky one other spot was large and we ended up sharing it with some other campers. Picnic tables available at each site and vault toilet on site was well maintained and clean.

It was a quiet and lovely place to rest for the evening.

SiteNot sure -maybe site #3

Good for Families

Most camp sights have lake access. Fishing is pretty good, I caught a few brown trout. Very open not much seclusion available. Has a vault toilet, picnic tables and fire rings. Bring fire wood. Not much around to scavenge to burn.

Beautiful Views! Minutes from Worldclass Fishing

Beautiful spot just on Ennis Lake. Probably 6-8 sites. Each site has a fire ring and picnic table. There’s also a bathroom on site! Decent spacing between sites but if it were full might be a bit crowded. Not a lot of wood to scavenge. Only 6-7 miles from Ennis which has a decent sized town to get supplies etc. Technically it’s in the town of McAllister and about an hour from Bozeman! Road in was easy so could have good size rig!

Meadow Lake

Very open! Found a site tucked in from the wind. Watched a lovely thunder storm roll through last night. Price is right - free.

Lakeside and very relaxing

I’ve camped here many times for most of my life and it’s always been the same. Early season you’d be surprised at how not busy it is. With the Madison river spots filling up fast Ennis lake usually has spots to offer. It is close to some residents but this isn’t a lake in the mountains. Bathrooms are well kept up and spots are usually always clean. Fire ring and picnic tables at each spot. Usually more than enough drift wood and deadfall by the water edge for firewood too. Best of all. Free!

Lakeside camping with mountain views

Seven sites, most lakeside. Boat ramp and bathroom facilities. Next to road and some houses which was a little weird but you forget about it when you see the views of the Madison Range across the lake. Free!
