This area has a lot to offer within a 15 min drive from wherever you camp. There are a lot of people that use this and there are a lot of parties. I was woken up at 2am by people talking and walking through my site. Overall it was great though.

This is a really great place to camp if you have a way to boat out to the island. We use a canoe since it’s only a quarter mile or so paddle. The only down side (at least when we were there) is the raccoons. They will come up really close at night begging for food. They’re harmless though.

I stayed here during the off season when the office was closed and it was an easy process in and out. Very clean place and maintained well. I would definitely stay here again.

I stay in the creek side primitive tent sites and they are awesome. They are spaced well enough to where you don’t really have neighbors and are secluded enough to get your fix. The service is amazing and they have a lot of amenities if you need them.
