Managed by the USDA Forest Service along the Beartooth Scenic Byway, Park Side Campground sits within a cluster of three adjacent Forest Service campgrounds, including Limber Pine, that share the same road loop southwest of Red Lodge. Cell service is nonexistent here regardless of carrier. The sites have solid tree cover with open sightlines toward the Beartooth Mountains, and hiking and biking trails are accessible from the area. Drinking water, toilets, picnic tables, and firewood are available on-site, with both reservable and first-come, first-served sites. At $20 per night, it makes sense for campers who want camping near Red Lodge with direct byway access and pets are welcome.
