Best RV Parks & Resorts near Victor, MT

Definitely not a spot that caters to our normal priorities as it's more of a family hangout or long term place, as expected being an RV park. But it worked well as a stop-off spot for laundry, showers, electric recharge, and water fill before continuing on our way the next morning. We were worried it'd be loud being so close to the freeway, but surprisingly couldn't hear it at all.

Facilities: Laundry, showers that feel like home more than any other we've been to, mini-golf, playground, convenience store

Cell Service: As expected plenty of service being so close to Missoula

Had a van battery issue so needed to plug in for the cold night. Is as advertised, not for typical bookdockers. Owner is nice and accommodating. Maybe 12 sites with some long term renters - it appeared. All hook ups available up to 50amp. Not quite close enough to down town to walk (in winter). Philipsburg is an awesome small Montana town that’s worth a stop.

Very full park with mostly long- term guests on gravel pads, no grass. Spots very close together but each site had a picnic table- no grills. Visitors friendly but staff were marginal. Small laundry room with old machines. Convenient location but check- in early during peak season.

Go ANYWHERE but here The park is in a perfect location and Rebecca works endlessly to keep the place beautiful. However, I truly believe maintenence is her only asset. Her public relations and personality are in NO way appropriate for management. That being said I want to thank her for being rude and abrasive. Thank you for yelling at all my friends. Thank you for coming out with your hands are your hips interrogating anyone for coming into the park. Thank you for yelling at my 85 year old mother when she was confused on how to get out of the park. Thank you for never ever putting your dogs on a leash, breaking park rules. Thank you for allowing your friends in the park to allow their dogs to bark all day long when they are gone. Thank you for playing favorites and allowing your friends to play loud music while YOU party with them down by the bonfire. Thank you for screaming my name through the park and BANGING in my door when I forgot to pick up my dogs poo one time when you KNOW I pick up others people's more than 10 times. Thank you for driving your cart and your husband driving the bobcat WAY over 5 mph yet SCREAMING at me and my friends going 4 mph(I have video) I Thank you because without you doing all of those horrible things Embarassing me and my family and friends, I would have stayed there missing an opportunity to find a loving caring landlord on horse property that I will gladly pay rent for a very long time. I am not surprised that you have to advertise that place. Every other RV park is PACKED with no openings. When I left, there were 8 open long term parking. Sad, in this economy I know people that are homeless because they will never stay there. I am a travel nurse and speak to hundreds of travelers and I will never recommend this place. Infact, I will go out of my way to detour them. If the owners actually read this..... seriously reevaluate your management choices she is not appropriate for this position. We arrived late and only stayed one night but this place is very well run and has everything we needed. Convenient and a nice place to stay. Long term or passing through it’s a good choice for the Missoula area.

This is not a fancy campground but we loved it. It’s on the Bitterroot River with the Bitterroot Mtns behind you and the Sapphire in front. The spaces are on the grass with full hook ups. They have a little store for groceries and Sunday’s and sell propane. The nights are dark and star gazing is wonderful. Hamilton MT is 2 miles away with all amenities and if you like craft beer, there are two breweries. There are also some sites right on the River but they are not full hook up.

Nice little park in Hamilton. If you were wondering why its called "Black Rabbit" RV park, take a look at some of the photos below. Contactless check-in if you don't arrive during business hours. The park is on the river. It was a short walk from our RV to a cool spot with chairs and a fire pit on the river. The park is quiet and the RV spots are generally pretty wide, all pull throughs. 

The park is in town, so very convenient if you want to get groceries. The staff was friendly and helpful!

Located on the north side of town, about 15 min drive to downtown Missoula. A bit overpriced, but do accept Good Sam membership for discount until next year. Wifi was horrible- didn't work well at all and took at least 5 mins to load a page and then sometimes would not even load after all of that time. They say they are in the process of updating their wifi- hope so! We hot spotted from our phone the entire time and had good enough AT&T cell service. 

There is a pool, gift shop in the office, as[halt roads and great walking park and has short little trails in the neighboring hay field. Easy access through the park. Our spot was a pull thru and super easy to get situated and set up. Level site, picnic table and close to neighbors. Quiet park. Laundry was horrible. 1 of the 4 washers available was working and it was hard to find a time where it was available since the park hosts so many guests. They should definitely invest in more washers or fix the ones that were out of order. They didn't have quarters in the office and the coin machine wasn't working. To avoid anymore hassle, I went downtown to Sparkle Laundry. I HIGHLY suggest over their laundry machines. It was$2.50 for a double load and drying prices ranged from$0.50+. Super friendly staff and have a little bar top and stools, along with snacks and drinks while you wait for your laundry. I suggest going there instead!

The Missoula KOA appears to be the only game in town.  I guess that is why they can charge a premium price and leave you with two choices, take it or leave it.  Only problem is we could not find another place so we "took it".

This is a big and busy campground.  Lots of good things about it.  For example, for a premium price, you can get a site with your own private dog run.  Two older but OKay hot tubs and a heated swimming pool.  Bicycle and other stuff rental.  Everything from tent sites, cabins, small full hook-up sites to large spacious premium sites.  Despite some of the bad reviews, the staff was very friendly to us and, because of no parking for our Tesla, they were able to move us to a better site.  WARNING:  You are not allowed to plug in any electric car.  We were warned that if we plugged in our Tesla, we would be fined and asked to leave the park immediately.  The Tesla supercharger was less than two miles away so no problem for us.  Wifi was great.  34 mbs.  AT&T was 2 bars 5G.

The BAD:  Very busy.  Many days in summer they are 100 per cent booked.  Make reservations early and be specific what you need.  Be ready to pay a premium price, even for tent camping.  Camp is old but well kept.  Bathrooms are clean but very old style and shower stalls are very small and not handicapped friendly.  Surrounded by lots of older double-wide's.  Some well kept and some not so well kept.  Not friendly to electric cars (see warning above).  Several times during our stay they paused their golf cart in front of our Tesla,  I assume making sure we did not plug in.

This RV park is very nice with spacious sites and very clean restrooms and grounds.

Great RV park on Hwy 93. Some highway and train noise. Very convenient. I paid $50 for a back in.

Beautiful campground with shade trees and lots of flowerbeds. Wonderful bathhouse, clean, well maintained. Nice laundry room. Wah $2, dry .50 per 5 minutes. Adjoining lounge with TV and chairs. Free wi-fi and cable. No generators, no charcoal grills or wood fires. No tents. Pull thru and back in spots. Good amount of space between sites

 Nice green area behind sites. Really nice sports field, balls available. 

Very well maintained park! Plenty of space in each lot. Well shaded lots with plenty of grass and nice flower beds. Been from Atlanta to Seattle and this is the best maintained RV park we’ve been to this summer.

The campground is clean and well maintained.  Bathrooms and laundry room were clean and in good order.  They are a little picky about the grass and flowers, but it seems to work as the park was green and well maintained.  The only negative is the trains.  If you are a light sleeper you might have problems, although they did not bother me.  They don't want the dog to destroy the grass of flower in the RV park but there are large areas front and back to let your dog run.

This KOA is conveniently located for a quick overnight stop. We were passing through Montana and needed a full hookup site to rest and recharge before another long day of driving. The camp staff was very friendly and accommodating, even with our late arrival. It’s located a couple blocks off a busy road packed with shopping options which was a plus for someone passing through, but it might not be the best place for someone looking for an extended stay with scenery.

This is not really our type of camping spot. It’s more of an RV park than a camping spot, but for what it is, it’s nice. They have spots right on the Bitterroot River. It’s a bit crowded. We were right on top of 2 other campgrounds, but some spots are bigger than others. Look at their map before selecting a site.

Still, the facilities were clean, customer service was great, the location was convenient to many good fly fishing rivers, and we had WiFi, which we hadn’t had for weeks in our previous camping locations.

We lived in our 5th wheel at turah RV park for 2 years and my complaint is about the owner. She will charge double the kilowatt for usage and charge a 25$ meter fee every month. Our power bill for our 25' 5th wheel in the summer would average 200$ a month and 350$ in winter. That is really high for any RV. We eventually moved to a house and our bill here was 95$ for the month and we ran out A/C constantly. That's more like it. The owner is a back stabbing rip off artist. She made up that we owed her $200 for groceries when we were about to move. My wife works at a grocery store and that's where we got 90% of our groceries. Besides the RV store is full of food that is very expired. She will treat people horribly and start rumors about you. I beg everyone to not stay at turah RV.

Nice little campground outside of Philipsburg next to the highway and a creek. There are only 10 sites on the lollipop loop, 6 along the “stick”, all on the creek side, and 4 on the loop. There are a couple extra vehicle parking areas too. Creek side sites are better, but sites 7 and 8 seem to be the largest. I was pleasantly surprised there was a host for only 10 free first come sites. All the basics are here- picnic tables and fire pits and one clean vault toilet. I did not see any hook ups of any kind for RVs. Pretty quiet at night but traffic starts around 6:30 in the morning, so you will have some daytime noise. I saw a deer walking through the campground in the late evening as well. 

The only downside was my very noisy neighbors, but that is more about the people and less about the campground.
