Horse Creek RV and Trailer Park

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Sitting alongside MT-200 in Terry, Montana, Horse Creek RV and Trailer Park functions primarily as a drive-through stop for travelers moving across eastern Montana. The park sits near a small creek, and Keith notes the water draws wildlife: "Small creek had geese, a heron, and carp." A gas station and convenience store are directly adjacent, which makes resupply straightforward without driving into town.

Sites are level gravel pads with full hookups including 20/30/50 amp electric, water, and sewer. The infrastructure has been actively upgraded in recent years, with new electrical service installed and the grounds regraded for leveling. One shower and one restroom are on-site, and multiple reviewers describe both as clean. There is also an on-site laundromat. Sites run close together, so campers expecting separation between rigs will find this park tight.

The owner receives consistent mentions across reviews for responsiveness, including meeting late arrivals after 9:30 PM to assist with check-in. The park tends to be quiet despite its roadside location. At $45 per night with full hookups and showers included, it covers the basics without extras. Flowing Wells Rest Area Hwy 200 provides another option along the same corridor to the west. Reservations are available and worth making during peak summer travel months when MT-200 sees heavier through-traffic.

Great place to stop

Richard was very friendly. There isn’t anything to this RV spot, just a friendly owner and quiet. Right by a gas station. Should we come through again we would stay again.

Easy overnight stop when traveling MT-200.  The owner was very accommodating and welcoming.  We pulled in after 9:30PM and the owner met us to show us our site and get us checked in.  Sites were level, easy to pull through and setup quickly, however were close together.  Onsite laundry was convenient.
