Highway noise echoes across this unmanned RV park positioned directly off Interstate 44, where campers can complete their entire stay without interacting with staff. RV Self-Park operates on a self-service model with online reservations and remote power activation, accommodating rigs up to 50 feet on level gravel sites with full hookups.

The facility maintains security cameras throughout the well-lit property, and Russell K. found the remote power system reliable, noting "I called the number in the confirmation email and it was on within seconds." Sites sit side-by-side without privacy barriers, and the property includes a fenced dog exercise area. No restrooms or dump station are available on-site, though sewer connections handle waste disposal needs.

Multiple reviewers emphasize the cleanliness of the grounds and the efficiency of the check-in process, even after dark. The interstate proximity means constant traffic noise, which some find disruptive while others appreciate the easy highway access. Cell service reaches most of the property, though WiFi connections can be inconsistent.

For travelers seeking more traditional campground amenities, Blue Spring Ranch offers creek access and recreational activities south of the area.

Many mentioned the clean, level sites and smooth self-service check-in process as standout features. Highway noise from the nearby interstate was a concern for some, though the convenient location and dog area were appreciated.

Great RV Space

We rolled into RV Self-Park late with our pup and loved how smooth the process was. Booking online was quick, the site was level, and everything was super easy—even after dark. It’s well-lit, secure, and the hookups worked right on time. There’s a fenced dog area too, which was a nice surprise. You will hear some highway noise, but honestly, after years in trucking, it just felt like home. No restrooms or extras, but for a quick, no-hassle stop right off I-44, this place nailed it.

Rest stop

If you love the sound of freeways this is the place for you. No hourly rates, 12 was minimum. Million dollar failure.

Really nice!

I rolled in about 1030 with my daughter and dog. Very well lit, very clean and very easy to get in and very secure with a ton of cameras. Also has a really nice dog area. Was a bit concerned if my power would be on since the place isn't manned by someone, but it was and since it was so well lit it was a fast hookup. Totally recommend this place!

Very new, neat and clean

I was impressed with this place. It’s not staffed on-site as far as I saw. You can reserve a site online or just do it when you get there as I did. After paying the power is supposed to be turned on. Mine wasn’t after a couple minutes but I called the number in the confirmation email and it was on within seconds. No bathroom which they let you know when you book. Nice water and sewer hook up. You can get in and out really quick.

New park!

Just a simple nice place to come for a night or a few days to tour the area. Small dog exercise area, large level spots (no need unhook for an overnight stay). Very clean. Lots of interstate noise as it’s very close.
