    Eagle Ridge RV Park

    Lovely campground just off I-35

Great place for a quick overnight or longer stay. We were there in very early spring so could not use the swimming pool or small lake but the walks around the area were very nice. We stayed in a long FHU pull-through (the one shown in the picture above) in a Class A. Close to the interstate but not noisy.

    A Country Charm RV Park

    Great place to stay!

This small RV park was a great place for us to stay while visiting family in the area. The owner is very helpful. The facilities and grounds are very well maintained. There is a washer and dryer with a folding area. The restrooms and shower area is private and super clean. There is a nice picnic table and fire ring at each site. Bundles of fire wood are available for sale.

    A Country Charm RV Park

    Practically perfect!

Lovely small RV park. Only about 12 sites. Super friendly, helpful owner. Quiet area in a small town but grocery store just down the road if you need to restock.

Level sites. Good hook-up access. Small, clean laundry. Bathrooms were top-notch. Every campground should have the same set up. Handicap accessible, all in one in same room. So great if you have kids or someone with a disability.

City pool and playground across the street. Only stayed one night so didn’t get a chance to try those. Will definitely stay again when passing through the area.

    Little River Recreation Area

Rv/tent sites on a big lake... Fish, fish, fish

Nice little campground 4.5 miles of the freeway...9 minutes away from a small town with stores that stay open till 9. A bait shop onsite, closes early. Most rv sites with power, walk in tent sites w/o. Rates are great $12/15. Showers and flush toilets onsite as well as cabin rentals, canoe rental and fire wood available. Downside is a lot of flying bugs...not really biting just annoying. The lake has a lot of fish in it I hear... Family friendly.

Most campgrounds in the region operate on gravel surfaces with varying degrees of shade, and campers can expect reliable cell service in the immediate Trenton area that weakens in more rural locations.

What to do

Visit Amish communities: The nearby town of Jamesport, 16 miles from Trenton, is home to Missouri's largest Old Order Amish settlement. Countryside RV Park offers seasonal sites from April to October within walking distance of Amish shops and bakeries.

I will definitely go back under less stressful circumstances," notes Jackie K. about her stay at Eagle Ridge RV Park.

Quilting tourism: Hamilton, 20 miles from Trenton, is home to the Missouri Star Quilt Company. "This small RV park was a great place for us to stay while visiting family in the area. Highway proximity: Several campgrounds are located near Interstate 35, providing convenient access but occasional noise. "Located at Love's so most things you could need are available there. Not the quietest place but super easy to grab some breakfast and get on the road in the morning!" explains Tori K. about her stay at Love's RV Hookup in Cameron.
